Long ago in a galaxy endless light years away, there was a planet called Cybertron. Here, a species of autonomous robotic beings once lived in a grand and golden age of peace and prosperity...or so it seemed. Among the populace, two unlikely individuals recognized the crippling faults within their society and both fought, for a while, side-by-side to change their world. One: the lowly data clerk, Orion Pax. The other: self-designated gladiator, Megatronus. However, the two revolutionaries turned leaders began to disagree then rapidly to oppose each other and in time the two became mortal enemies. Eventually, the doomed trajectory of their conflict led - as all war does - to the obliteration of the very world they sought to change.
Eons later, Cybertron lies dead, a derelict husk spinning through the galactic void. The remnant Transformers reside on a young, organic world, creating a new battlefield and here is where the this story begins.

Optimus sends Jazz and his new unit of spec ops Bots to sabotage the Nemesis in a hit and run guerrilla strike. During the attack, Starscream and Megatron have a 'disagreement' about leadership, Megatron sustains neural net damage, and flees, leaving the Nemesis - and its shocked crew - to Starscream. Meanwhile, the Autobots find one of their officers has taken ill suddenly... and the situation escalates rapidly to a full blown quarantine and mad-dash scramble to find a cure before they lose another member of their team.

Other During the war, the battle spread across the universe. Anywhere that isn't Cybertron but where Autobots and Decepticons have fought. Lunar outposts, other planets, sectors of space, etc.
