Smokescreen crouched down and peered over his avatar critically, trying to get a good look at it. Woah, that was disconcerting, staring back at himself from all the way down there. Wow, he'd never looked at himself from this angle.
...and yes, he was still looking good.
Now that Wash had pointed it out to him, Smokescreen could see that the colour of his avatar's eyes was indeed too bright. It took a quick tweak of a few different parameters before he got it to a more natural shade. Once that was fixed, he made the avatar wave up to himself, just to get a feel for controlling the thing before Smokescreen turned his attention back to Wash and tuned into what he was saying, a dopey grin on his face. Heh, this was really neat.
"A test, huh?" Smokescreen took in Wash's avatar. Vague recognition flickered at the MECH outfit but there was no further reaction. He hadn't seen any agents during his encounter with them though he had read up on them afterwards as he settled into the Omega base. To Smokescreen, MECH took the form of their vehicles, they were the helicopters that had chased him through the forest, making it difficult to picture them as humans.
Smokescreen looked over his avatar. "Alright, I've got this." The Autobot delved back into his systems, fiddling with the settings once more. He removed the outer layers which designated the final details that would be added to the avatar's appearance. Smokescreen however also hadn't decided on what he wanted to change those details just yet. As he hadn't yet dismissed the avatar, this resulted it into being stripped nude as Smokescreen pondered over what he wanted to add, a look of concentration shared on between the faces of his avatar and himself.
"Hey Wash," he said, one optic shut as he did a quick spin through the internet to try and give him an idea of what other options he could go for. Smokescreen came back from that with a grimace, there was waaay too many options out there and hadn't made the decision any easier. "What are the general guidelines when it comes to picking an outfit? Like what's socially acceptable or not? It seems like human opinion varies enormously."
The irony of his question with the state his avatar was in was lost on Smokescreen.
Just as Smokescreen said that, a spark of mischievous struck him as he recalled the human they had discussed earlier in the conversation and it took Smokescreen a second to have his avatar dressed in Agent Fowler's suit and pants. The clothes did not hang well on the avatar's more lean frame but the Autobot was not bothered. He examined the result with an air of satisfaction.
"There, I did it. Ha!"
