For a brief moment, Nell's eyes widened when the giant robot told her that they witnessed the beginning of the war with their own eyes. If the war had been going on for as long as he said it was? Holy mother of God, that was a long ass time to live – and here she thought the oldest living humans had lived a long ass time.
She stepped backwards when Optimus shifted his weight in order to angle one shoulder downwards. She narrowed slightly as she looked at the insignia, she wouldn't forget it anytime soon, and she was quietly glad that there was indeed a marker to identify each faction. “So the Decepticon's marker is likely similar, but different, huh?” She asked, though it was more simply thinking out loud than anything.
As for learning all of the other Autobots eventually, and that one would show her readouts on the 'Cons they were aware of? Nell nodded slightly. “Makes sense, and good to know that you don't plan havin' me in either situations.” The mechanic commented, though she knew that when it came to war? Sometimes things happened when one didn't plan on it happening.
Of course, with her one question on how the Autobot's blend in? Fowler chimed in and the mechanic turned a skeptical eye to the agent. Was he shitting her? Seriously? They were hiding disguised as cars? When Optimus spoke, Nell blinked and picked her jaw up off the floor. “Well shit...” The mechanic mentioned softly. “You guy's ain't pullin' my leg, right?” She asked before craning her neck to look back up at the Autobot Leader. “I'm hoping I see that sooner rather than later, and if I'm gonna be helpin' you folks out? I can probably give pointers on what cars, trucks, or whatever you guy's can take form if needed...I'm sorta a gear head in a way.” Her shoulders shrugged a little.
In all honesty, she'd find it awesome to see - because who wouldn't want to see it?
Annnd as far as rules went...
“Yeah he kept me in the dark.” Because he was an asshole, but Nell wasn't going to say that out loud. She glanced towards the agent, and her eyes flicked towards the catwalks. Oh, were they suppose to use those? Well it wasn't her fault she didn't know the rules if a certain someone didn't tell her them.
