The injury was now fighting back with far more vigor, and wanted itself to be known and addressed. What had been a reasonable sort of pain has since doubled entirely once the shard was disturbed. It almost seemed like the metal piece had been blocking a relay from a neural cluster from getting to his processor, but now that it was shifted?... well... he was feeling it far more. A persistent throbbing... a feeling of needles boring around the area where the removed shards had once been. The entire assembly ached, and it was bound to get worse with the way the last chunk of the blade now ground in-between the hinges.
Metal shavings flecked and broke off, powder coating the surrounding fluids in the wound with metallic bits and glints. This would be bad enough, but with Carbine leaning up on his elbow to address Nel, the Energon leaking was getting worse, flowing freely to spackle down onto the berth with glowing puddles. Among the blue spattered down, a new color started to mix in that was an acidic green compound that had a sickly sweet smell. The coolant pooled into the puddle below, creating curls and spirals of abstract shapes as the chemicals didn't want to mix and meddle together fully.
"Yeah no I don͞'t͠.̀ T̴a͡lk a͏b͢out a pain to clean up right? This wi͞ll͞ be ̀bad enough. I have to slee-sĺe-̵s̛-̵k͞z̴z̵t͞-̕rest here"
He gestured down to the mess underneath him with his free hand, letting out an exacerbated sigh like removing some chemicals off of the bed was the most trying thing in the world to him, and ground up human bits would have been just the icing on the cake. It was rather short sighted since he was bleeding rather bad now, granted a mech of his size could survive such a minor flow of a leak for quite some time despite it dribbling like a leaking faucet.
After this display he considered what she had to say for a moment, an in-vent swelling through his system while he tried to process what else he may need. Really, there were plenty of things a tiny human could do, that could help with generic maintenance and tinkering, the question was if he trusted her enough. At this time, he was just a bit too wary of humans, so he grumbled and started to ease back down to lie upon his back.
"Just that one chunk͘,̶ m͠a͟y̢be͘ ́t̛ry t̸o ̵clean out the area to m-make sure nothing else goţ i͡n ̴t̛here yeah? Pat̡̡͝ch͢ up the leak?"
He requested, the held in-vent slipping out with a huff from the slats on his back that caused the nearest puddles to flutter on the surface from the hot air. Once Carbine was eased down, he stretched his arm out perpendicular to the edge of the bed once more, only this time his forearm folded in so that he could lightly grasp at the edge of the berth. It meant if his systems spazzumed again, he would hopefully just grab the edge firmly, and not just lurch in and crush her or anything. Or so... that was the goal, as he held still once more.
"Hopefully you won'͡t ne̡e̸d p̨liers or anything."
