Security Officer specialized in formulating, developing and coordinating all safety control functions of the organization. (Security/Service)
Appearance:
Physical built: Blackframe is an average sized mech, standing roughly at the same height as Bumblebee. His frame is overall sleek and straight, but has some sharp pointed details here and there to look more intimidating. The reinforced and well armored chassis carries front bumper and headlights of his altmode, and while his primary armor is painted in a deep black, the secondary components and accents are covert in white. Blackframes shoulder pads are curved downward and are wide enough to carry the “split-in-half” siren, divided by color, red on left and blue on right side. The front tires are situated on his back, attached to his shoulder blades and as his rear tires are integrated into his pedes, they are sturdy and large enough to support his weight and mass. The doors of his vehicle mode are posed at the lower hip joints (on each side) where just slightly above the two sword sheaths (scabbards) are positioned.
Facial features: His face plate is dyed in a light grey with bright red optics in black sockets, peering through a dark red tinted visor. The visor itself resembles a pair of sport sunglasses, which is retractable but most of the time slid down to protect his optics. The sides of his face are covered in cheek guards, followed by long finials along the sides, attached to his audio receptors. The very front of his helm is shaped like an ordinary base cap and on top of his helm is somewhat like a crest, enwrapped with white curved stripes. Blackframes insignia is located at the left side of his neck guard, painted in white.
Altmode:
Blackframe chose a Ford Mustang Shelby GT350r as his new altmode on earth. The vehicle resembles a black and white American police interceptor.
History:
Blackframe was one of the Cybertronians who were sparked straight from Vector Sigma/The All-Spark, designed to fulfill his duty in Cybertrons Military Force. Created to infiltrate the ranks of ongoing rebellions and gain Intel of political or military value. Later stationed at one of Cybertrons Military Academy where he received his training and education in the basics of military terms, structure and combat.
After graduating from Cybertrons Military Academy, Blackframe was assigned to one of the ground units, tasked to observe and expose unauthorized operations throughout the cities. Working undercover and sabotaging, manipulating the organizations from within, and as he gained information of potential threats, he learned about a small group of rebellious low-ranking Cybertronians who wished to imply their view of a just society on the planet. The more information he gained, the more he believed in what they stood up against was true. The corrupted system that dedicated Cybertronians into a rigid structure of the so called caste system, which was originally created to preserve their society, has always been questionable to him. And as he visited the city state of Kaon, in hope to find more answers; he encountered one of Megatronus´ speech. Inspired and overwhelmed by the gladiators words Blackframe took notice of their actions and the cruel hierarchy they lived in. He never really liked the caste system and this was his chance to be part of a revolt towards change. He secretly sided with them, supporting and fighting for their cause what he believed was right to gain equality for each Cybertronian. Blackframe soon became an informant, a spy for the sub-groups and double-crossed his own government.
The moment the High Council fell as the now re-named Megatron declared war upon them; Blackframe officially joined the Decepticons. He got assigned to a skilled team of soldiers with the task to retrieve stolen Decepticon properties such as weapons, artefacts and data from Autobot territory. He boarded a small spaceship named “Avius” and got appointed to the rank of the ships Security Officer due to his knowledge about security systems and his observation skills. The job was fairly easy, he kept everything safe and secure and provided assistance to those in need. He responded to alarms, investigated and assessed specific situations and while Blackframe fulfilled his duty, time passed. Their home soon turned into a deserted wasteland and as Cybertron died, Autobots and Decepticons evacuated the planet to continue their battle across the stars. The spaceship he boarded followed and pursued an Autobot Cargo ship over great distance to an inhabited planet somewhere in the Galaxy. Their platoon launched an attack on the Autobot ship, just to face their defeat as the so called Cargo ship turned out to be one heavy armored Battlecruiser with large-caliber artillery.
Blackframe was one of the lucky mechs who survived the first impact and got ordered to abandon ship. Under the cover of the ongoing battle he escaped in one of the spaceships escape pods and soon got knocked into stasis.
The small pod took him to an abandoned Decepticon Outpost on a foreign planet, how long he stayed in stasis is unknown. When he awoke and gained his consciousness, Blackframe investigated the area and soon found a barely operational Space-bridge located on the lower levels of the Outpost.
Personality:
Blackframe is simply an aggressive Decepticon who tends to overestimate his own self-importance quite often. Despite his hostility towards everyone and everything he would be one of the most reliable, but not most loyal Decepticons. He respects those ranked above him, yet he doesn’t hesitate to challenge them in their authority. Being able to take sarcasm to a level beyond anyones imagination and annoy the hell out of any living being, he isn’t the mech someone would wish to pick a fight with, at least not verbally. Nonetheless, he’s a very skilled and intelligent soldier who is willed to complete every task given to him, keeping casualties at its minimum and assure a missions success. He is highly alert, carefully observing his surroundings and always ready for duty. Blackframe is working hard to achieve his goals, eager to learn and not afraid to proof his metal.
Likes:
Music/Dancing: He personally prefers some tracks which are hard in style.
Sarcasm: He likes to tease his fellow teammates with smart-aft comments and give them weird nicknames, leading quickly to an awkward conversation.
Drifting: While other grounders entertain themselves with street racing, especially the “speeders”, Blackframe likes to burn off some rubber and enjoys painting circular patterns across the street.
Swords: They are silent, fast and deadly. And everything that is sharp or has a blade attached to it will catch his interest. Good luck getting out of that conversation.
Dislikes:
Dirt: Blackframe doesn´t mind getting his paint peeled off during a fight, but as soon as he is covert in dirt, filth or any other sticky stuff, he quickly turns into a drama queen.
Traffic: He hates it, too many rules and signs to keep track, where is the fun in that?
Getting up early: It would be best to avoid Blackframe in the early morning, waking up with a very bad mood and having the “Talk to me and you’re dead” expression on his face is something no one should encounter.
Guns: Every idiot is capable of pulling a trigger and … Oh! They’re noisy. What else is there to say?
Strength/Weapons:
Cybertronian Long Swords: Blackframe carries two curved swords on each side of his hip. They are large Cybertronian dual wielding swords with one sharp cutting edge and long pointed blades. The curved main blade is sharp and capable to cut even through heavier armored components, leaving the enemy with serious injuries when enough strength is put into it.
Combat Dagger: On his left thigh he carries one medium sized dagger around. It is sharp with a two cutting edge and pointed tip, capable of piercing through thinner armored components but not fitted to withstand a lot of pressure. It is best suited for stabbing into softer areas like exposed joints or to weaken the opponent.
Melee Combat: Only armed with his dagger and swords he is the one who likes to get up close and personal in combat. He is agile and quick, striking the enemy in multiple hits and inflicting as much damage as possible in a short amount of time. He tends to fight more forward without any breaks between his attacks. Nonetheless, he knows when to retreat or back up from an opponent, he is not suicidal.
Forearm Storage/Tools: Blackframes arms can’t transform into weapons, but they are capable of storing some tools inside. They resemble some kind of pocketknives, mostly used as utility tools to pick locks or bypass security systems and not as actual weapons.
Agility: Blackframe may be not as acrobatic as other bots and won’t be able to win a race against those “speedsters”, but he still is maneuverable and fast on his pedes, dodging and rolling around in defense when he has to.
Weakness:
Ranged Combat: He is not capable of covering the far ground, neither is he equipped with a ranged weapon. Once caught in the enemies’ crossfire he is completely defenseless, well mostly.
Glass Cannon: Blackframe can be a deadly opponent but he never was built to be a punching bag. His armor may be reinforced around the chest area, but this can’t be said from the rest of his frame. His limbs are fairly exposed and easy to damage should an opponent get a good grip on them. Plus a good placed hit (especially in the face) can knock him off the ring pretty quick.
Size/Strength: He isn’t the largest mech around and on the battlefield it can quickly turn to his disadvantage. Every Cybertronian bigger, heavier and/or bulkier than him is difficult to engage, since they mostly have a lot of durability and armor.
Hot Shot: Blackframe is a very temperamental mech with the habit of barging into any situation to get a good “fight” out of it. He likes challenges and competitions, which can be easily exploited.
Special Skills:
Swordsmanship: Blackframe is an excellent sword mech who (nearly) mastered the art of the sword. His knowledge in and about material arts were obtained with a lot of practice and training. Since he prefers a more offensive than defensive fighting style, he tends to fight more forward and aggressively than others on the battlefield.
Hack that: He was originally designed as an Infiltrator and therefore he contains knowledge of how to bypass security systems and operate in missions without being detected. His hacking skills are on the basic levels, able to deactivate cameras and motion sensors, traps and locks such as pin-coded keypads.
Extra Info:
Not a Cop: Blackframe may have chosen a Police vehicle for his altmode on earth, but he never worked in the enforcer caste. He simply chose it because it represents authority, power and control. (He wears it like a sort of uniform, to represent his current job.)
Not a Circus Clown: The idea of performing “flippy-floppy” stunts and running/jumping up walls like a ninja is tempting, but only seen in demonstrations and performance displays and not in actual combat. Therefor Blackframe doesn’t even attempt those stunts, though a little show off with a few sword tricks to intimidate his opponent will be made.
Sample RP:
The emergency sign flickered across the ceiling and the dimmed lights were glowing in the dark as a certain mech walked down the empty hallways. The low humming sound of the ships engine followed the black figure along its way. Late night shifts were always his favorite, no patrols and no distractions, just a silent night on board the Avius. The Decepticon took a left turn, slowly dragging his pedes in a lazy pace; he wasn’t in a hurry to reach his destination. Lost in his thoughts he counted the last few days he had spent to reinforce the locks on the storage rooms, it wasn’t much of an issue and overall the ship seemed in a good shape. But still, some individual managed to damage one of the locks, causing the door to shut down, hence why he had to go and fix that. On second thought, it wasn’t much of a surprise that the door locked itself; more that someone was able to put that much strength into it to break it.
He took another left turn and entered the second corridor, still walking slowly as he vented in exhaustion. The night seemed really quiet and his shift should end soon after he took care of that issue, getting at least a good recharge out of it. Another few steps along the corridor and the mech reached his destination, standing in front of a large locked metal door. He glanced over to his right and spotted the damaged- no, more destroyed lock on the wall. The keypad was missing, only the sockets that once hold it into place were still there, barely. As he looked further down, he noticed the crumbling remains of … whatever that was. The one who tore that lock apart did a perfect job in dismantling everything inside and around it. The Decepticon glared at the lock for a brief moment before he kneeled down to clean the mess on the ground, there went his long recharge he so desired. He picked the pieces together and sorted them out of his way to gain better access of the system in front of him. Tomorrow he would order some Vehicons to get rid of the destroyed remains, but first he had to get some work done.
As he tried to reconnect the cables and getting some kind of response from the lock, he could have sworn he heard something. Footsteps? Or was it his imagination? His head turned as he looked over his shoulder to get a glimpse of the corridor. Nothing. Turning back to focus on the wires, there it was again. Once more he turned his head, standing up just to face the dark and empty corridor. He wasn’t much of a fan when it came to scare pranks and didn’t tried to hide that fact as he spoke into the darkness with an annoyed tone.
“Okay, I know that you’re there. If you’re planning to jump me you have to try harder, now … show yourself before I make you.”
Crossing his arms in front of his chassis and waiting, he glared into the dark corridor.
