Bumblebee's optics would widen as Miko moved past him, and he'd immediately sit up straighter – stretching out his left leg and bending it ever so slightly so that it was between her and Carbine. While he didn't think that Carbine nor Bolo would lash out and attack her, there was so much tension and confusion in the air that he didn't really know what would happen. The next few moments were critical, and he wanted Miko to stay safe no matter what.
She mentioned his servo, and it was only then that he dared cast a glance down to the mangled limb. Slowly he'd pull his good servo away and would hold up the one that'd been used as a chew toy.
It was in bad shape. Very bad shape – and it was almost as if seeing the injury reinforced just how much it actually hurt, and he'd give a quiet whimper-yowl of a beep as he tried to flex his servo. He was missing a finger, and there were deep puncture holes and scrapes clean through the rest of his mangled limb. It looked like he'd put his whole servo into a grinder and held it there, which... Wasn't too far from the truth, given what'd happened. Fresh Energon spattered onto the floor as he moved it, and he'd give another whimper and curl forwards, holding his servo close against himself.
While he sat here feeling sorry for himself, Carbine's field made him glance up and across to what was going on between the ex-cop and his cassette, and all of a sudden he found himself feeling even worse. He didn't mean for Bolo to get punished, he didn't know that Carbine would launch into a full out attack straight away. While he was thankful he did, as he wasn't sure how he was going to get Bolo off without either intervention or hurting the canine? Seeing Bolo like this made Bee angry – although he wouldn't yell out for Carbine to stop.
Bee would only watch in horror, his optics narrowing some as the same rage that'd bubbled up moments earlier seemed to rise up again and he'd sit up straighter and more alert. He wasn't sure why this was getting to him the way it was. Maybe because it was his fault. Maybe because he saw Bolo as a friend and Carbine had rushed in and attacked without getting the full story. It was one thing to run in and get Bolo off him, but to keep going...? Still, he knew better than to rush in and try to get Carbine off Bolo – even though he'd be helping the cassette, he knew that Bolo would see Bee attacking his master and lunge at Bee once more, and he was in no state to fight. Especially not two versus one – and with Miko and Raf nearby too.
Finally, Carbine let go and there was a painful silence that seemed to linger. Bee, too, would remain silent as he cradled his servo and he looked up at Carbine with optics narrowed. His leg was still outstretched, shielding Miko from any incoming attack – and all he would do was wait to see what happened.
There was nothing but a sentence.
--What are you even talking about?-- Came the confused beeps as he replied. --I started this. Not him.--
He wasn't sure what Carbine was even talking about. Doomed? Why would Bolo attacking Bee doom him? Was there more going on that he didn't know about? It'd been a misunderstanding. A mistake. He wasn't doomed. If anyone was going to get into trouble for this, it'd be Bee.
Defiantly, he'd pull his leg back and would use his good servo to push himself up so he was standing. He still angled himself so he was protectively in front of Miko – and he wasn't exactly on eye level with the helicopter mech, but would stare him down regardless. He didn't want that little 'reveal' (especially as he'd forgotten to say why he'd started this) to send Carbine into attack mode – and if there was going to be a fight? He didn't want to be sitting on the floor when it happened. His posture was defensive, or as good as it could be with one servo held up by his chassis.
