Timeline: Week 2 | Day 2
Back on the Nemesis, whatever supplies were needed that could not be obtained could easily be taken from the surface, or even created from what was existing. If it was not immediately available on one person, someone else on the ship may have at least one of what was needed. When the rare situation came up that it could not be readily acquired, that did not stop projects in their tracks. Sometimes something could be fabricated, or something similar could be used. There was and endless supply of useful items, where the only limitation was one's processor. That was no issue for Shockwave, who had multiple projects going at any given point.
That was the Nemesis.
This was not that place.
This was a new space, with the exact opposite that could have been said for their ( formerly ) flying base of operations. This was not Shockwave's pristine facility within that ship.
This was... whatever this was. Starting from the ground up, to put it into mildly factual content.
Thankfully this was not the first time Shockwave had needed to do this. He recalled the time when they were in much more dire situations than this- a time that even Ravage and their leader recalled. He'd needed to build from scratch on more than on occasion, and sometimes the rebuild process was because of his own doing. Relocating a secret facility called for complete destruction of said facility, rather than just up and moving it as one usually would. Unless it was something Shockwave could not recreate, he'd much rather leave no trace of it behind as to save whatever advancements he'd had made from falling into enemy hands.
If only that had been the case for the Space Bridges. But those had been taken care of in due time as well. Unfortunately, the technology had been salvaged by others that were not he, and that was not a part of history he cared to repeat.
Now he was busying himself with the first step: Laying out where things needed to be and setting up locations. He'd picked out a section of the new temporary base that was far enough away from the main areas that one would not 'accidentally' stumble onto it, hidden within the twists and turns of the compound. He could work here and not be disturbed constantly... even though the lack of doors was rather irritating. He didn't like the idea of working on projects where one such as Starscream could stick their big nosy selves...
'Other thoughts. Focus. Cannot lose focus...'
