((this is for Slipstream to ask for her data pad back, but if any other Cons wanna get in Soundwave's way and keep him from getting back to the comms center to do his work, that's fine too! XDD))
Once he'd finally been able to escape the bridge, Soundwave headed directly back to his comm center, taking the straightest path possible, not even bothering to detour around the more well traveled hallways as he normally did. More than enough time had been wasted humoring his 'Commander' Starscream and he could practically hear his interrupted work calling for him.
He made no effort to acknowledge anyone he passed in the hallways and any vehicon who found them self in his path quickly skittered out of the way. There was quite a bit of nervous staring and a few double takes as the sight of their elusive Chief of Communications and Head of Security wandering the main hallways was quite uncommon. The unwanted attention vaguely irked the specialist, but he made no outward sign of it, he just wanted to be back in his area among his things doing his work.

The irritated cry of the Decepticon lord rang through the halls of the Nemesis, reaching the audio receptors of the Seeker Captain. She let out a pleased chuckle and mused to herself. "Sweet, sweet music~" Slipstream wandered the halls still trying to wrap her cranium around the situation that had passed a few cycles prior before her arrival. She soon noticed Vehicons scampering to the sides of the hall as someone approached. The faceless visage of Soundwave caught her optics.
"Soundwave...! Just the mech I was looking for." the femme said as she approached the head of security and Intel. "You wouldn't happen to have my tablet would you? Or did Starscream go ahead and break it after finding the true contents of it?" The image of the former Sky Commander enraged by her creative poem and saucy pictures filled her processor, filling her Spark with glee.
Soundwave was forced to pause in his step as the seeker captain stepped into his path. Though he knew the femme's face (as he did everyone on the Nemesis), he'd never made attempt to communicate with her before and was a touch surprised by her boldness. Or not. She was a seeker after all.
He tilted his head at her and considered simply ignoring her, stepping around her and continuing on his path but the way she crowded him in her glee suggested that she had no intention of letting him get away until she had an answer for her question.
Pulling himself up out of his usual slumped stance, he gave his head the smallest of shakes and raised one arm to point back the direction he'd just come. No, he didn't have the ridiculous seeker's datapad nor did he know what had become of it after he'd left the bridge. He also didn't care. He had work he needed to get back to and whatever petty squabble the two seekers had found themselves in the middle of did not concern him. Starscream had already wasted a good chunk of him time.
Patiently he waited for the femme to acknowledge and get out of his way.

She waited for a moment and blinked. "I'll take your silence as a response that he trashed it. Oh well~" Slipstream smirked as her plates shifted to allow her to go into her internal compartments to pull out another tablet. "You're wanting the coordinates of the offworld Energon deposit? You can download them." The Seeker handed him the device and continued to walk with him.
Soundwave paused to stare at the proffered pad a moment before finally accepting it with one taloned hand. Skeptical, but unwilling to chance passing up viable information, he freed one data cable and connected to the device, just as wearily as he had the last one. He really wasn't interested in any more of his time being wasted in ridiculous games.
This pad, however, wasn't even locked and contained no major surprises. Other than actually holding energon logs and reports on recommended mining locations. Apparently the Seeker femme wasn't as useless as he'd though.
Pleased, Soundwave pocked the pad for further study and, without much in the way of a good-bye, continued his trek back to the communications room...albeit at a slightly brisker pace. He now had a datapad on top of the work he already needed to finish and wasn't interested in any more interruptions.
((OOC: Thread has been edited. We are going to say that Slipstream and Soundwave parted ways at point.))
Knock Out had caught sight of the Security Director's frame as he passed through an intersection further along Soundwave's escape path. He waited there, deliberately blocking the intersection with a distinct CMO-esque gleam in his optics. "So good to see you. I wasn't finished treating you for your wounds when you-" escaped "-left medbay. I have been concerned for your health."
Knock Out's optics took in Soundwave's frame, noting particularly the areas that he knew had been damaged during the raid. Evidence of self-repair still lingered. Messy, messy.... "Now that things are getting back to normal, I would like to bring you back into medbay for a full diagnostic." Knock Out smiled in what might have been reassurance. Maybe. "Just a precaution, of course."
Aaaand yet another distraction appeared to impede him.
Granted, the CMO wasn't the last person Soundwave wished to run into, but he was fairly high up on the list. Soundwave didn't necessarily dislike the flashy red mech per say, (honestly he didn't care much one way or the other) but he did find the mech's constant need to push medical attention on him rather misplaced.
The communications mech had been a gladiator once-- -before he'd 'down sized' and left the ring to patron the mech who would eventually become his lord-- a fighter of the highest caliber. Megatron had once --still did-- considered him an equal, both on and off the battle field. He was no stranger to sever damaged and quite intimate with pain and as far as he was concerned, the wound in his side was trivial and so long as he continued to function within operating parameters. This was no where near first time he'd lost a chunk of himself in battle and he didn't figure it would be the last either. He wasn't critical and he functioned and that suited him fine for now.
What did bother him, however was that while the rest of the ship might have been settling back into some semblance of normalcy, Soundwave's life had actually grown MORE hectic. Starscream might have been content to gloat and saunter his way around the ship, but in the mean time someone actually had to make sure the grand Decepticon wheel kept spinning. Their ship was damaged, their master missing and possibly injured and he STILL didn't know how those pit damned Autobots had managed to slip pass his security systems!
As it was, Soundwave silently came to a stop before Knock Out in the middle of the intersection, looming over the smaller mech like a giant vulture, as if daring the red mech to continue standing in his path. An unstoppable force and an immovable object they were.
((KO can be intimidated by Soundwave or not. Sounders will prolly still posture either way, but if it becomes obvious KO isn't gonna back down,Sounders will go with KO simply to keep from wasting any more time. XD)
