Aquila stirred in his personal quarters as Fairwinds relayed orders to him as well. He left his disheveled quarters and lumbered down the hallway, following after Knock Out and his escort of Eradicons. He stepped into the staging area behind the assembled Eradicons. At the moment he was the tallest member in the hunting party, looking down on KO and the subordinate drones.
A downed Autobot in need of an extraction meant there would be reinforcements. It also meant it was a chance to slice apart Autobots. Aquila was pleased, and quite excited at the prospect of good bloody fight. If there were to be any heavy reinforcements for this mission, the prissy doctor would possibly have a fun time patching Aquila back together for the umpteenth time. The Seeker knew little restraint once a fight was under way.
The presence of a volatile Seeker was a potential cause of discomfort among the Eradicons. Having a loose cannon along for the ride complicated things a bit, especially if they got in the way, but they might have learned to keep out of his way by now.
The ground bridge burst to life. Its blue-green glow illuminated the staging area as this motley crew stepped through it. On the other end, Aquila was greeted by a sudden spike of dry heat and sand. A flaming, downed shuttle was the only thing that broke the monotonous flat land.
At Knock Out's orders, two of the Eradicons took flight. Aquila followed suit, firing up his boosters and slowly rising after them. His actions kicked up a large amount of dust, no doubt increasing the source of Knock Out's current annoyance. Once he reached a high enough altitude, Aquila began to fall back down, flipping back as he transformed into his alt mode with its engine nozzles facing the ground. The Seeker fired them at full afterburner, picking up a huge burst in speed and rocketed past the flying Eradicons in search of the Autobot-in-need, engines screeching and roaring. Once Aquila reached altitude, he inverted and carved back down, drawing contrails in the air before leveling off. From up here, it would be easy to spot a long Autobot in the wasteland of sand.
The loud radio transmissions coming from the Autobot were like a beacon in the wasteland, not that spotting her from up here would've been difficult. The Seeker accelerated from his lazy banking, heading straight for the source of the transmissions. He barrel rolled, opening up his forward internal weapons bay and firing a single AGM at Shiftlock from several miles away.
<< Posting order is as follows after this post (thank you Aster~): Fort Max, KO, and then Shiftlock. >>
