<<Knock Out and Ravage flashback! \o/ This is placed...gosh, I don't even know. Mid-war, on Cybertron? Knock Out is a respected medic, enough that he would be trusted with dealing with an injured Soundwave, though not CMO-level yet. I'm assuming that they are in a small Decepticon base near wherever Soundwave and Ravage's mission was.
My basic idea here is that KO knows that Soundwave has two cassettes, but he's never really talked with Ravage and does NOT know Ravage's personality or level of intelligence. He has heard that Laserbeak is pretty much a drone, and he's assuming that Ravage is much the same: Soundwave's eyes and ears with only rudimentary AI of his own. Feel free for Ravage to correct him. :D>>
"On the berth. Hurry up! Watch it, that's the TiC, not a bag of scrap!"
A TiC that just HAD to get himself scrapped next to my base. Wonderful.
Knock Out shouldered his way to the side of the berth in question and kicked it when it did not immediately register the patient on top of it. The berth's scanners hummed reluctantly to life. "Soundwave, sir, can you hear me?"
Given the damage reports slowly filling Knock Out's HUD, he would have been surprised if he'd received an answer. Someone had, from the looks of it, shot their shadowy spymaster out of the sky. Possibly while in his flight alt, from the pattern of (moderately extensive) damage. Said spymaster had transformed back to bipedal mode at some point in the crashing process or afterwards.
Knock Out was less interested in the mechanics of the fight than he was in his chances of getting the Decepticon Third in Command online again. He did not want to be the mech that Megatron came looking for because his spymaster died on the medberth.
Which, Knock Out thought as he scanned Soundwave himself, was going to be complicated.
How DID one get a carrier's cassettes undocked to get to the wounds underneath?
<<I'm assuming that Ravage and Laserbeak were both knocked offline with whatever happened in the fight that got them here. :D>>
