We are a literate, intermediate to advanced AU Transformers RPG Based off of the first season of TFP with dashes of other incarnations sprinkled here or there. Characters from any continuity are welcome however must be restyled to match the TFPrime universe.
Active, with ongoing plotlines, we are always willing to integrate new characters into storylines once incorporated into the setting.
Does your character have a particular voice/accent/manner of speaking that can be compared to that of a real-life person? If so, post an example here and share your character's voice with the rest of us!
I'll start things off with Red Alert. His accent is very difficult to place a name on; it's sort of a butchered Scottish. His voice itself sounds hushed and a bit gravely, as you'd expect from someone who doesn't really talk that often.
The closest voice I could compare his to would be that of Gideon Emery. There's a good example in this video, from 1:06 to 1:17, though the accent is slightly off. Ah well, it's still a great representation of what Red sounds like in my head.
Anyone else have any character-voice examples they'd like to share? You're not limited to your own characters, by the way. You can also post links/descriptions of what other people's characters sound like to you, if you'd like.

For Ironhide, try to imagine Jess Harnell (Ironhide's voice in the first Bay movie) doing G1 Hide's accent. Deeper, rumblier, still thick as mud. XD
Jaws is the bastard accent mashup between Stephen Fry and Alan Rickman, particularly when he's on a tirade about something or being prissy. Apparently he watched a lot of BBC while he was stranded in the Amazon. >_>
Ratchet is just Ratchet, Lennox is Lennox, and I don't actually know what Downforce sounds like. HMMM. I will have to ponder this further....
Jazz sounds like Fall of Cybertron Jazz (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQgDvWr5EAo - gameplay of Jazz bein' awesome), who sounds a lot like the Scatman Crothers G1 Jazz. <3
Metroplex talks rather slowly, deliberately, and with a v. deep and slightly digitized voice, very like his voice in Fall of Cybertron: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHbmzmLKSPE (gameplay vid of Metroplex's awakening).
Atracchus sounds like Bee (gazoinks!) but much, MUCH deeper in tone there.
Electrocap? I don't really have a comparison. I was actually researching all kinds of accents to see which she could have picked up that would suit her the best, but I believe she just sounds like whatever dialect/accent she's speaking at the time (like the way the bots in the show have an American lilt despite being offworlders XD). She sounds female. And that's about it.
Dusk is a lot like that also; he'll tend to change accents (and holos) depending on his moods. BUT MOST of the time... I can definitely see him sounding like Miguel (the blonde one) from Road to El Dorado, with a bit more of an accent.
Stormbreaker.... Her voice is high, but she speaks so flatly it almost sounds deep. Usually very monotone.
I always picture Mirage with a posh accent and a honeyed, carefully modulated voice. Really plummy, light and generally pleasant to listen to - he's got a voice meant to make him seem like Prince charming, and damn if he doesn't exploit it XD
I've mentioned this before, but I can't unhear James Woods as the voice for Deuce. Wholly appropriate chewing-the-scenery moment from 'The Specialist' there too XD.

Layby is definitely Keith David (voice of Goliath in 'Gargoyles', among many other animated roles!) in my head. Similar look for his holo, too, though lacking the dreads and the scar.
Accent is a very heavy version of my local West Country English. Basically he sounds like a farmer from the forest.
I chose Zachary Levi (particularly his voicework as Arcade Gannon from Fallout: New Vegas) as Endymion's kind of a nerd, and the voice suits him. He's not particularly sinister or threatening as a character, so the soft, occasionally sarcastic tone fits his persona. I would add maybe a very slight drawl to it though, as Endymion tends to drop letters and shorten things when he speaks, but for the most part, this voice fits the bill.
Notable Bits: 4:55 - DAMN!... ... You suck at shooting... 6:34 - It’s the size of a truck! How are you missing!? 7:51 - I am sick and tired, of being sick and tired. 12:30 - We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, and kickin' ass. 12:35 - It may not be pretty! But were doin' this.
0:54 - Yeah sure, all for one one for all. 1:07 - I'm not LEGALLY allowed to own a gun... Hope everyone's ok with that. 1:21 - I'm getting' sick of looking at this guy's face. 1:24 - Really!? Because he looks like an asshole! 1:58 - He's like a five year old! With guns! And a comprehensive grasp of every swear word in the English language. ((...Thunder?)) 3:58 - I am NOT climbin' in- ah screw it lets go... 4:09 - You sure we shouldn’t just panic? Because I think panic was invented for just this sort of situation 4:29 - Restricted area my ass... 5:37 - I'm gunna whack the shit out of sumtin' with this!

Rook's voice is Matt Damon. Ghost Wind's is Cam Clarke, who is just utterly awesome as a VA. Fortunately Shockwave and Soundwave both have designated voices.
