Yeek, I prefer him without a standard face, tbh. He loses nearly 90% of the intensity with a face looming under a screen.

Also Sounds' face is one of those beautiful mysteries best left to headcanon. Personally, I think it's just the screen/visor with a few sensors behind it. Seems much more interesting, and it kind of begs the question of why he's built that way...

Plus it's more fun to distance the Decepticons from human-like features. The Autobots want to blend in and be charming. The cons don't care. But that's my reasoning. XD I doubt it has anything to do with what the artist's are going for.
