(Week One, Day Five
Set directly after So Many Red Flags
Whose invited: Roulette, Soundwave cameo, Nuetyneuts)
As tempting as it would be to stalk through the groundbridge, right up to Soundwave and demand he let her go to the Neutral Base...Roulette wasn't stupid. She was upset, yes, but she still wasn't going to make a rash decision. She'd taken the time to dedicate some thought to her actions and requests. Long enough for the sun to start inching towards the horizon. And she'd decided a few things that led to the same destination of her being righteously screwed.
Shockwave is going to butcher me in the name of science. He actually can now, too. He's got a shiny, eager new whipping boy that just bends on over for him.
Disturbed by that thought, she felt her face warping into a completely disgusted look right as she stepped right onto the bridge. Ugh, she had to stop letting her thoughts run so freely! Blinking her optics at Soundwave, she scrambled to cover what could be misconstrued feelings. The last thing she needed was for the 3IC thinking she found his company less than stellar.
"Ever just get a thought in your head that you wish you could forget about completely? Because that's been most of my life up to this point." Snapping her mouth shut, she ground her dental plates and looked away. Ok, perhaps she was a little more than mad. Maybe she was livid at what had happened to her. But that was more useful than say, being sad. Being sad suggested she had no control and she certainly did, dammit. Why else would she be about to sneak off the ship?
"I need...I need a favor from you. Something happened and I need a medic at the DMZ to check me out as soon as possible." She had a hard time forcing herself to look at the stoic mech. It wasn't that she found herself intimidated by him. He wasn't scary, as some mechs claimed him to be. His looks were ascetically pleasing, if not delicate looking, and the silence was a welcome relief! He could have been like Starscream, after all.
Resolutely, she held her datapad up to him in an offering. There contained the entire report, down to the small snake she'd awoken next to (and no, Shockwave, I didn't grab a sample) for Soundwave's immediate attention. Eventually, very eventually, she planned for the datapad to be sent to Shockwave. After a good deal of time separated the two of them and copious amount of miles.
