"Let the drive of vengeance guide you and you shall soon become that of which ya at first sought to end, right? The ever guidin' sagely words of Optimus Prime. And here I thought I was just a natural born killer." Jazz shrugged lightly as he laid back so he could stare at the sky overhead again. It was daylight, hard to see anything, but he knew that up there were the stars and planets that he'd passed along the way to Earth.
Slowly he held up one servo and pointed to the east. It was a generalized point, but clearly it was a 'look this way' sort of one. "Neutral planet that way... or what's left of one. Most of it's overgrown and unusable but they make due with the space they got. Only... I wouldn't recommend venturing to those inhabitable areas. You'd be lucky if you're ever found again." After that he folded that servo behind his helm and just stared at the sky overhead. "Of all the planets that ya coulda hit, you find this one. I swear that it had to have been like tryin' to stick a pin through a flea on a fly's butt." There was a light-sparked chuckle that came from him, a hint enough that Jazz was just wanting to move on and not bring up the horrible past memories they'd been talking about before.
He pointed in a different direction, more Northwest this time. "Over that way is one of the funkiest places I've ever run into. The surface is nothing but collected items that have gone floatin'round in space and just been pulled into it's gravity field. Landed there briefly, found some things that I could use. The inhabitants are a lil funky but they've got some good sparks."
It was small talk- a distraction from the heavy conversation that they'd been having. Jazz really had no want to dig deeper into memories he would have much rather wiped from his memory core. There were things that he hadn't even told Orion about- rather, how Jazz had become... well... Jazz. He certainly hadn't been born this way. "Long before I met ya, long before the war, I used to really be into music- makin' it, not listenin' to it. Maybe one day when this war is over with I can try to pick up the ol' habit." He turned his helm to look at Optimus. "How 'bout you? Ya ever think about what ya wanna do after all this is done?"
