We are a literate, intermediate to advanced AU Transformers RPG Based off of the first season of TFP with dashes of other incarnations sprinkled here or there. Characters from any continuity are welcome however must be restyled to match the TFPrime universe.
Active, with ongoing plotlines, we are always willing to integrate new characters into storylines once incorporated into the setting.
I've already begun my character application but I am uncertain if such a character could be used here. I've already discussed my idea in the cbox but i would like a clear clarification of how I can make this happen.
You are more than able to apply such a character, and would just need to spin his history to make him arrive at this earlier date in the timeline. For example, Shockwave does not appear in the TFP series until much later, and yet we have one here despite this. This site runs on its own independent timeline, and no longer has to abide the flow of the show, all you would need to do is write the how into your history, and we can run from there.
When it comes to the question asked in the chatbox about Alt-Modes, you do need to pick out an exact model of plane to reference if you do proceed with Dreadwing. This is done to avoid any squabbles of 'But I am faster not you!' and other such factors, allowing us to look directly at a Wikipedia sheet to determine facts. This is only hindered by obviously Cybertronian forms ((Megatron and Shockwave)) and those that have obvious Cybertronian alterations ((Soundwave having a jet engine instead of a propeller)).
However, I noticed in the chatbox that you have a desire to make a character that will be a throwaway with the express purpose of applying Megatron. If you intend to kill Dreadwing later on, or he isn't a character you would want to play long-term ((even if you are unable to get Megatron)), we may want to steer you in another direction.
Killing Canon characters is a bit of a taboo, as it is taking a character someone else may love and want to role-play, and remove it from ever being an option. If you are looking for something you can throw to the side later on, then an OC character is the way to go. Original Characters can be killed off and dismantled without any repercussions, since a new player would never be able to play them like they could a Canon.
Hope this answers some of your questions, but if you have other concerns be sure to check out the Resources link HERE. If your question isn't listed, then feel free to ask in the Chatbox. Hope to see yah around!
If you do not mind I would like to redo my application, after looking over it I believe there is a lot more I can include and feel that what i have submitted is not acceptable for even my standards.
