Bee kept his attention and gaze on the tiny human, trying not to sneak a glance to see what Bolo was doing to the other side of him – he heard the protesting snarl and the familiar noise of shifting components, so it was easy to work out what happened. It didn't seem like the canine was too happy with the idea but it wasn't like he had a choice now that Optimus was here. He made a mental note to check up on Bolo once they were back at the Omega Base, he'd taken the brunt of some of the shots, and even if they were caused by a human weapon he wanted to make sure his little buddy was okay.
He continued to stand rigid and alert beside the Prime, and as his name was spoken he would shift his weight a little to stand up straighter. Even if it was probably more than obvious that he was Bumblebee, the human had been idiotic enough to fire on them multiple times so hey, forgive Bee for subtlety pointing out the obvious for stupid here!
He could only listen in amazement at how calm Optimus was in regards to everything – especially with how panicked and annoyingly vague Bee had been in his call for aid. Then again the Prime's demeanor toward it all was nothing new or surprising. Even despite the Prime not saying much, the few words that he did say, paired with the way he carried himself? The tense and awkward air had quickly begun to dissipate into one that was much calmer.
Finally.
While he was sure Optimus would ask their side eventually, it made sense he wanted to ask the human first. The dude had just been visited by two giant robots and a massive robot dog, it was probably best they get his side of things first so they could disarm and calm the situation.
Only the dude who'd been so angry and full of life and reckless abandon as he fired shot after shot only moments earlier now seemed to be at a loss for words now that an actual question had been asked.
Figures.
Bee was smirking behind his mouth guard, giving the most subtle of optic rolls at the stammers. C'mon man, now's your time to explain your side! You were all too eager to shoot at us before, and NOW you've gone all quiet and shy?
::--Idiot. Hey, Carbine – is Bolo okay?--:: quiet beeps over the comm to Carbine and Carbine alone – not wanting to distract Optimus with needless chatter, or get himself into trouble for calling the human the name he just did, even if it was the truth.
His patience for the situation seemed to be low, and the fact the dude hadn't blurted out an explanation was annoying. He'd nudge at the dirt with a pede just for something to do – part of him wanted to just explain to Optimus what'd happened, have Carbine verify, then Optimus could ask the human to see if it matched up. But the human spoke then – and instead of explaining, finally the questions came.
As Odi gestured to the truck, Bee would follow with his optics and scowled some. Optimus could probably work it out, but he was still ready to jump in and explain should he need to. The last thing he wanted was for Carbine or Bolo to get into trouble over this thing going downhill so quickly, and as such he was ready to take full blame for everything going wrong.
