Miko could only giggle and shake her head.
“Noooope! Guess we need to have Carbine teach him the difference between the two meanings of sh… uh... s-h-a-k-e.” she grinned, spelling it out just in case it set the pup off again even if it wasn’t a direct command to him.
“That’s a super good idea though, Raf!” she’d nod, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Police dogs didn’t really play much that she knew of - they were all serious grr because they were working! Maybe Bolo was the same, hence the slight miscommunication there. Either way, she’d take any excuse to play with Bolo more - Carbine seemed pretty chill, so she couldn’t see why he wouldn’t be open to the idea of them teaching Bolo new things, maybe even gestures so he didn’t mix up words again!
The mention of fetch was perfect, but Javelin took it one step further and Miko’s eyes widened at the idea presented. That’s right!! Bolo could totally track things - and with the open desert of Nevada around the Omega Base, it’d be perfect to get him running around too, maybe! Of course they’d have to ask Carbine to supervise since Bolo bolting at full speed toward Jasper would be TOTALLYcool bad and something she nor Raf would be able to stop. Something to ask about in the future, though.
“A toy? Uuuhhh…” she’d never actually seen Bolo playing before, and the idea of a giant Cybertronian dog toy was pretty hilarious! Images swirled in her mind of giant squeaky toys or even just giant oversized plushies that could be used as dog toys. Bolo would make quick work of them, she was sure, and it'd be hilarious to watch!
Movement then, and she’d watch curiously as the cassette shifted to a stand, before hopping off the table. Had the word toy made him realize something? Was he going to pull out a giant squeaky toy??
She’d move a little closer to the edge of the table, being careful not to get too close to the edge, watching from up here as Bolo rummaged and rattled in one of the many boxes and crates at the far side of the room.
Well, it wasn’t a squeaky toy but… It was a stick! Sort of. A very long, heavy-looking stick that she couldn’t quite work out what it was from here. As Bolo made his way back, she’d step back and to the side to give him room if he wanted to hop back up, only to blink as he plunked down the... piece of pipe. Ah. Still, technically a stick, she supposed.
There was nnnooo way she could lift that! But she would sure as heck try! Even if she could roll it with enough momentum off the table and onto the floor- ehhh no that’d be super lame and boring. Maybe she could lift it onto its end and sort of topple it?
“Is that your toy, Bolo?” she cooed excitedly as she ran over to the pipe that’d been dropped for them to obviously throw for him.
Moving to one end of it, she would crouch and using both her hands? Would try to lift it.
HHHHhhhhhhrrrgghh. Mmnope. Curse these tiny little arms! As strong as Miko felt, the pipe wasn't budging.
