Bumblebee didn’t notice the fact it seemed Jazz had stopped paying attention. While he was certain that it wasn’t the case, and that the other mech was in fact paying attention to everything going on, he would continue on with his own thoughts, voicing them aloud.
Bee did pay attention most of the time. As a Scout, he had to! Back on Cybertron when he’d been a courier, one slip up could mean game over, and while things had relaxed some here on Earth, he did still try to take note of his surroundings.
Yet here in the base, he seemed to forget all about that. They were safe here, among friends - which was probably what separated him from those like Jazz, or even Red Alert. They watched, and paid attention to most everything going on, things that were normal, things that weren’t so normal and yet looked like they fit in.
Gently shifting his weight, he would nod at Jazz as he spoke. That was pretty good advice - simple, yet important to remember. Bee was always cautious, especially when Raf was involved. Taking far too many precautions, he was almost like an annoying parent at times.
--I always have a back up plan!-- he chirped, --Or if I don’t, things usually work out.-- there was a gentle flutter of his door wings in response to the smile, trying to remain positive.
Jazz’s next words were… a little out of the blue, but it was completely understandable. They’d been talking for a while now, and while Bee’s quarters were big enough for him, the room sure felt rather cramped with two of them in here. Jazz probably had better things to be doing, and so Bee would nod.
--Oh, yeah I get it! You probably have important stuff to do anyway, and I should probably go make myself useful somewhere, huh?-- he chuckled --What’s that saying, uh- don’t be a stranger! Yeah, uh, if you ever wanna hang out or chat, or go driving or something just let me know, yeah?--
An awkward step forward was taken, then another as he moved toward the door. He didn’t want to be rude and have Jazz see himself out, and so like a good ‘host’ he would push the door open.
--Thanks for the chat, Jazz. and the picture - it means a lot, really.--
