Miko felt so very out of place in the conversation once more. Raf had so many amazing questions, things that were important and she found herself at a complete loss for words. Every question she’d ever really had about Cybertron was about the fighting, the war - the battles, usually wanting graphic and gory details.
Yet Raf wanted to know how it all started. What put them into that position to begin with. Why even now, probably millions of years later, they were still at war. The war that, because she wasn’t really a part of it, she didn’t understand the severity, the losses or the pain that came with it. At least, not to the point the Cybertronian’s here at Omega did. There was nothing even really close - at least, nothing she’d been through personally.
So she was quiet. Pushing off Bumblebee’s arm so she was standing up straight, her face neutral - and yet full of worry all at the same time. Mulling over words, mulling over questions and things to say yet nothing felt right.
She was curious about the start of the war, of course she was - yet not once had she thought to ask about how it began. To hear Raf put it into such simple terms after everything Patch had said was… honestly eye-opening. The fact it was ongoing, over something that seemed to be like a disagreement...
And it seemed like there were those like Patch who hadn’t even been there at the start. All the knew was war. Born into it, forced to join a side and fight.
It wasn’t fair.
At the question, she would shake her head.
“Nuh-huh.” a hand easing up to rub at the back of her neck, almost as if she was ashamed of her next words. “I never really thought to ask Bulk about that stuff. Optimus mentioned the fighting was over Energon supplies, but I didn’t know there was more to it.”
Then again, she wasn’t sure if Bulkhead would really tell her everything. Glossing over details, making things seem nicer than they were, or just giving her the most basic of specifics. Still, though, it made her wonder just what Bulkhead had done before all the fighting and war, before he joined the Wreckers and the Autobots.
