EP: 3 – Week: 1 – Day: 5
Location: Somewhere in North America.

The wind was chill and cool upon his frame. The heat from down below barely registered as the green jet zoomed through the sky. Here, up in the air everything seemed to be at ease, as if time stood still. It was, if Downfall had to be honest, relaxing.
The three months had been a rather eventful time; from the truce being wiped off its existence, up to their Lord and savior returning. While he himself had plenty of things to do, Downfall was pleased to hear that Megatron had found his way back to their forces, not that THAT was anything to be concerned about, but it was still a relief to see him back.
A few lazy thoughts were processed as he mulled over them, trying to stay at high altitude.
After all, he wasn't exactly... stealthy, nor could blend in with their earthen designs.
While others could adapt, simply looking for a local vehicle to scan and blend in perfectly when transformed, he could not. A past accident had robbed this ability from him. It was because of this that Downfall still sported a Cybertronian design in alt-mode.
A green alien jet with four wings, two on each side, one pair long and thick to accommodate his mass and weight during flight, while the other two were short and sat just behind the former to stabilize his flight pattern. It was far from being recognizable as one of the earthen aircraft designs. The overall form and mass, while streamlined, was peppered with their famous 'nick-knacks' that had been so common back on Cybertron; like an old reminder of what their race once had.
Oh he knew he had to be careful when out and about! The last thing he would want was to get spotted and earn their masters ire. Due to this, Downfall was careful and restricted himself to the vast outskirts of the planet; lonely deserts, dense forests or high ranking mountains. Never even trying to ATTEMPT to get too close to a city or village, the risk was just too great.
However, right now, he was enroute to another energon mine. A small little outpost to deliver their hard working troops a few new tools to ease the mining within this facility. It was always a pleasure to help out, to offer support and assistance when needed, and the Vehicons working there were nice and easy to talk to, that was a boon!
But before he could even think of approaching their mining site, he would need to clear any unauthorized visitors should there be any around. Nowadays, one could not be too careful. With this decision in mind, Downfall continued to fly and circle a rather large area, keeping his sensors sharp and at full alert in order to be able to detect any intruders. His 'special' skill also helped a great deal, most of the times, to locate even tiny objects and life-forms on the ground so he could scare them away. It was a boring job, but he could still find some enjoyment while doing this, and who knew what treasures and oddities one would find?
