Breakdown was used to not being believed. He was at the bottom of the totem pole. If someone had something to say that was against what he said, it was always the likely outcome that the other party would be believed. Breakdown had said his piece, he went by what he knew- which, admittedly, wasn't a lot. The voices in his head were having a field day, laughing at his insignificance in all of this. Had he been used? He didn't know- he really didn't, but no matter if he did or not the mere thought of it made his inner frame crawl in disgust.
"That's fine if you don't believe me. If I were in your position I'd be beyond skeptical if you were feeding me all of this." Breakdown didn't know anything for sure, but he did know his pride and honor wouldn't let him take such an underhanded route to use something like a virus to gain the upperhand. Shockwave? He wouldn't put it past that mech, but Breakdown would have much rather used his fists to settle a disagreement. "I figured there wasn't a cure because Knock Out never mentioned there was one. I sat there and suffered through this scrap that I didn't know I had and spread it to who knows how many others while I had it." He stood up and stared off, his voice showing that he was definitely irritated. It wasn't Bee that he was mad at- it was just everything and anything piling up. "If I knew I had something like that ya think I would have EVER put the only ones who didn't treat me like I belonged in a scrap yard in a position to be infected? On PURPOSE?"
There was that anger, and in the blink of an eye the pile of rubble that Breakdown had been sitting on this entire time was sent flying off to another stack several yards away with a heavy swing of one of Breakdown's hammers.
He vented.
"I've never been smart enough to break every little detail down. My processor is too screwed up to handle anything like that. I'm told to break things, I break them- that's as high of a level as I'm able to operate at. Spreading a virus around is an underhanded way to fight and I would never willingly put myself in that position. We may be Decepiticons, but there are some of us who have a bit more honor than that. If you think Autobots are the only ones who do, then you're just as shallow as all the other mechs I've dealt with who share your opinion."
Breakdown's hammer lowered and disengaged, allowing his servos to hang at his side as he stared off with his back to the Autobot scout. Each side had their opinions on the other set in stone. He thought Bee may have been a little more open to not all of the Decepticons living up to the deception that their brands signified, but he apparently had thought wrong.
"I should have stayed a Neutral. This whole 'this side hates this one and that side hates that one' is getting old. At least if you're in the middle everyone hates you for the same reason and it's easier to understand."
