“Eye protection?” she scoffed, waving a hand almost dismissively. Not out of any sort of disrespect, but why would they need that kind of thing? Was he just being over cautious? Probably. Safety first and all that!
At least he wasn’t wrapping them up in bubblewrap or something, although if Bulk was around she was sure he would suggest it - if he even allowed her to hang around somewhere with guns to begin with.
Following Nathan quickly, she found herself hoping that they wouldn’t run into anyone- not because she didn’t like the Autobots, cos she totally did! But it’d probably turn into one of those moments where they stand around chaaaattting and taking fooooorever…
Thankfully though, they were following the rules and moving along the catwalks! No chance of running into Optimus or anyone up here, and they quickly found themselves at the locked door to the office after making their way through the base. She had been in this room exactly once before- again with supervision- which was probably why it felt so weird and forbidden when she was allowed to enter the room.
The room itself was boring and not much to look at, and a quick glance around revealed nothing of real interest. Yeah, there were rifle cases and some ammo but it wasn’t like those were any fun.
She knew better than to snoop around, and so stood awkwardly in the doorway with her arms looped behind herself, rocking on her combat boots.
“Huh? Oh! Right!” scurrying forwards at the request, she would reach out to take the glasses and dorky looking ballistic glasses off the desk. Ahh… Eye protection… joy…
Standing still, she would wait to see if anything else needed to be carried, before following after Nathan, being careful with the items she’d been tasked with holding.
“Fowler uses this office sometimes, right? Are there any secret snacks in the desk? I always wanted to know!” she mused this out loud as she moved from the room, waiting for him to lead on.
