Week Two, Day Seven...
South China Sea...
Isn’t this what he always wanted? Space away from Starscream?
Thundercracker chuckled and would have shook his head if he wasn’t in his alternate form. The energon seeker was traveling toward a distant star as he passed by a small planetary body on the edge of this system. A few days ago he had intercepted radio chatter indicating a Decepticon presence located on the third planet of this system, as well as a strong Autobot presence.
That’s why he was here. He figured he could lend his assistance. And he was starting to get lonely after all. While he was not what he would call an extrovert, if he did not have any company he began to go stir crazy at times. Though that might have been energon deficiency as well...
As he burned energon past a pair of blue gas planets, he considered calling ahead to give them a heads up about his presence, but decided against it. Better to get the lay of the land first he decided as he passed two more gas planets, then a red rock of a planet before coming into the target’s orbit.
Apparently the place was called Earth...terrible name for a planet in his opinion. What were they supposed to call the native species? Earthians? Earthlings? Didn't sound very flattering at all.
He then set through into reentry, his metal skin beginning to warm up as he broke the atmosphere for the first time in centuries. He sighed as he enjoyed the feeling of relatively warm air over his wings. Then the thought occurred to him that he should probably find some alternative vehicle form besides his Cybertronian form if he wanted to maintain a low profile while he took a look around.
He didn't have to look for long as a pair of aircraft passed below him thousands of feet below him. Smirking, he activated his T-cog and with a smooth transition of gears changed form in an instant, revealing his form to the natives. A quick scan of green light, and he shifted again into the native craft, just colored differently in his usual teal and red paintjob.
“Let’s have a look then...”
He throttled up and climbed, gaining altitude as he rocketed towards the nearest landmass.
This should be fun.
