Serotype was still restricted to medical and their brig and under guard. Unlike their last prisoner, however, she had not proven much of a threat. Lying around, her own systems devouring her proto-skeletal structure as fuel, she was hardly a threat to the humans much less any of Team Prime. Her weapons, though Optims had stripped them in the desert, had been atrophied from lack of energon – all systems drained and cannibalized by her starving sytems to just keep functional. Her condition had been such that even Dipper could have kept her under control… probably.
Either way, Optimus himself had been keeping an eye on Sniper and when it was not him, one of the other experienced Autobots. The Decepticon spy had been here three months under Blaster’s watchful surveillance and Bumblebee more or less attached to his back plates and it seemed… unlikely that the green Lamborghini would hazard his already tenuous alliance with the Autobots by misbehaving while Serotype was on base. The Prime was already wary of how… convenient Serotype’s defection was – thus Jazz and League’s assignment to her guard. Right now, however, he’d dismissed them from the immediate area to speak with the virologist before dismissing her as the group had agreed would be the best. There was simply no option to have two nascent ex-Cons on base and Sniper (though it was a gruesome qualifier) had been beaten, tortured, and mutilated by his ex-faction.
Serotype’s motives for defection were… less solid.
“Bumblebee has been entirely cleared of the virus ,” said Optimus. They were standing just outside medical, the ground bridge primed behind him, coordinates pre-set. Blue optics regarded Serotype calmly. “Ratchet also tells me that you’re back to operational status. I wanted to thank you personally for ensuring the health of our scout.”
