It was purely by chance that Fairwinds came within range of the unofficially elected leader of the awakened Eradicons. Returning from seeing Arma, the cassette had been on her way back towards the vent space above Megatron's quarters to recharge. The most direct route had been helplessly obstructed halfway there, however - the vent littered with both claw and blaster marks that spoke of quite a serious scrap in a very confined space.
Then the floor had been missing and Acid Storm's lab had been underneath. And no way was Fairwinds showing her plates there.
The alternative route was lengthy in avoiding areas of the ship still being actively welded or held under quarantine whilst leaking power lines were resealed and volatile materials used in repairs. It took her towards the engine rooms, where she had last seen Barricade and where the majority of the Eradicons were still toiling.
She'd paused at a vent to rest her hydraulics a moment and watch, trying to ascertain how the repairs to the Nemesis were going. The ship was no longer listing, but its state was far from acceptable.
Steve was currently on his own and positioned partway under a console. Her comm.s were still missing vital components, and likely she wouldn't get a better opportunity to speak to him without being overheard. Spontaneous decision made, Fairwinds slid out of the open vent and glided down to land on the deckplates at the Eradicon's hip.
She shuffled into the distorting light of his lamp, ducking her helm under the exposed and drooping guts of the console. "Hey Steve. How's it going?"
