((Takes place two days after the actions in Theta station. Will edit if necessary for any conflicts))
Once she had come back from Theta station she had to be seen to. It wasn't that she had gotten too terribly injured while there, she was still able to walk on her own and function properly after all. It was because of the wound she had received the day before all that action. Serotype had warned her to be careful and she did have every intention of it, until Prime called for her and she was needed. Then the ground bridge, and a bit of confusion before the action. The fresh weld hadn't had enough time to fully set and she had ripped it wide open again. During the fighting it had torn even more and she had bled out a fair amount of energon thanks to the line also being torn more.
Now however she was fully healed again, fresh weld and everything, and grounded. Oh, that was what it felt like for sure. Velocity was on base arrest and not allowed to go anywhere but inside the compound until her wound was definitely completely set and wasn't going to tear or anything again. Being the one who was rarely ever here, for so many of her own personal reasons, she was restless now. Wandering all around, taking a lot of notes and sulking once in awhile in corners when she thought she was alone and not visible by others.
There was someone new on base she had heard but hadn't seen them yet, a defector in fact. Considering she had just spent time with and fought with a defector recently this had her incredibly curious. It wasn't until today that she sought him out. Data pad in hand she fairly loped through the halls, her legs longer than her torso by a bit and her entire frame rather tall anyway. Hearing noise in the medbay she slid in, surprised, and a little glad, that Ratchet wasn't in here. The last thing she wanted was for him to lecture her again. He may be the master of the wrench but she was sorely tempted to swat him upside his helm with her data pad.
Bright blue optics skimmed about the room and then she saw him. He was so bright, there was no way she would have missed him. His coloring intrigued her, she always did enjoy the more stand out types. Then his frame itself, it was long and lanky, though not as tall as her own. At least the new mech was nice to look at and without any further ogling she walked over toward him and introduced herself. “Hello. You must be Sniper. I have heard so much about you. I'm Velocity.” Simple enough greeting, she kept her tone friendly but her optics were all over his faceplate taking in every detail.
