_{(( The setting is twilight in Idaho at Shoshone Falls ))}

She was descending far too quickly for a safe landing, cursing Sound Ranger reached across the rattling steering wheel in an attempt to reach for a switch that she believed would stabilize the shaking ship. Her slight girth in combination with the trembling space vehicle caused her to slip from her seat and fall to the floor, she screeched as the space ship began a very steep decline to the mixture of lush trees and grey rocky ground. Scrambling she reclaimed her seat with much trouble Sound Ranger grasped at the controls ones again, her small hands taking hold of the large metal bars and heaving herself backwards with a grunt she attempted to right the nose dive she managed to get herself into. The ship for a brief moment stabilized; everything stopped shaking and it was silent, nothing beeped nor flashed red at the poor femme. Rangers panic subsided and she was about to heave her shoulders in relief when her grip on the frame loosened too much. Once again caught up by a stray wind the ship began doing acrobatics that its driver knew nothing about; its occupant screamed curses and prayed to the Primes to save her from the crash that she seemed destined to engage in. Her helm was hitting the back of the seat as the ship fumbled about in the bright unfamiliar air.

Finally giving up on the controls of the ship Sound Ranger grabbed onto the sides of her seat and fumbled for the belt she had so foolishly forgotten when she had left the last planet she had visited. As her audios were assaulted by the sounds of screeching warnings she finally managed to grasp the belt, only to have it wrenched away from her hands. Looking up just in time to find a blinding sea of green swamp her windshield she gave a cry and threw up her arms to protect herself from the impact, which came abruptly as the ship slammed into its first obstacle. The tree’s decelerated the ship quickly but also threw Sound Ranger from her seat and into the controls of the ship, then as it broke through the tree she was thrown back into the seat at a strange angle hitting various parts of her body as she was thrashed about. After several more broken trees and dents in the ship, it finally came to a rest in a small hole it created for itself upon its landing. Inside Ranger opened her optics to find herself in the far back of the severely beaten up ship. She felt lubricant in her eyes begin to leak out as she attempted to sit herself up: pain coursed through her fragile body.

After some attempts at standing she managed to drag herself to the door and get it partly open, it had been damaged too from the crash. Hauling her body out of the ship she looked about her surroundings. Thank the Primes I did not crash near a populated area. She thought as she placed a hand onto the side of the smoking vessel. But someone had to have seen that spectacular landing, and a twinge of fear appeared in her spark. What if the inhabitants of this world were exceptionally hostile? She had followed a set of coordinates she had received from a search she had done a while back when looking for life signs of her comrades, Sound Ranger had done no research on this planet which was very unlike her. She had left it to the nerves and joy of possibly finding a faction of Autobots, she had been alone for quite a long time now.

Wincing she pushed herself forward a little to a tree that was not damaged from her perilous decent, then turning on her heel she looked hopefully for her ship to not be as broken as she expected it to be, but once her optics landed onto the wreckage she gave a long groan. “This is hopeless,” She murmured looking at what once was her ship. “I will not be doing anything more in this vessel.” Bending gingerly down she placed her hand onto the ground and marveled at its soft texture as she sat down. Then she closed her optics, only briefly before opening them and looking at herself. Sound Ranger was very damaged, and if she wanted to do a makeshift patch job it would require her to move from her position and return to the ship that was smoking just a little. She did not want to take a chance of shifting its awkward landing angle so she remained motionless in her seat. Inclining her face towards the filtering sun in the sky she narrowed her eyes just a little. This planet’s light source is setting, night will fall shortly. I am not a lucky mech, who knows what is out in the wilderness of this planet. Glancing at her arm that was not holding her side Sound Ranger switched it out for one of her guns, willing it to flare to life. She was ready for anything.

The alarm came on Bulkhead's monitor watch, which was a surprise - he would have been willing to bet that nothing was ever going to happen on his watch, least of all a proximity alarm as something with an unmistakable Cybertronian signature appeared on screen. "Woah! Incoming!" And fast, by the look of it, something small that had left a screaming trail through the Kepler belt, past the fourth planet, and was flashing into atmo.

Bulkhead fumbled through the control sequence, looking for an identifier, confirmation, anything. Cybertronian, yes, but coming in like a refugee from the Pit, and whose was it anyways? Too much to hope it was one of theirs, not with Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus still unpacking their subspaces - that much luck didn't usually hit twice, much less three times. "Uh... Incoming, this is Outpost Omega One, respond. Identify yourself."

Nice, succinct, by protocol, didn't give scrap away... and nothing but static coming back. Bulkhead vented sharply. Scrap, of course it wasn't anything as textbook as Magnus' landing, or as easy as Jackie's ID had been. "Incoming, repeat, identify yourself!"

"More new arrivals?" Distracted, Bulkhead for once entirely failed to flinch as Steeljaw dropped down from wherever he had been lurking to perch on top of the monitor console. The symbiont pressed a forepede near the controls, which obligingly flipped through ranges for him - the cat had rigged some sort of wireless remote control which Bulkhead, with the wide blunt width of his servos, was jealous of. Blue optics flickered over the displays, gold tail tip - which Bulkhead carefully shied away from - twitching. "The only thing it's broadcasting is static."

Bulkhead rubbed a rueful hand across the back of his neck. "Definitely Cybertronian. Could be 'Cons." He shrugged. "Could be ours, too."

Steeljaw's tail sketched a rude glyph. "Could be neither," the symbiont pointed out primly. "What it is is coming in on an uncontrolled descent, which suggests partial engine failure, or an incapacitated pilot."

Awesome. Bulkhead straightened, optics brightening. "Search and rescue?"

Steeljaw waved one paw at the groundbridge. "By all means." He twitched an audial. "Looks like it'll be coming down in... Idaho. Something that small, probably that damaged - yell if you need backup, but I doubt it'll be necessary."

"I'm on it," Bulkhead agreed readily. He hit the event horizon of the bridge already on his wheels, peeling out across the control room - and flung himself back onto his pedes at the other end, blasters out as he emerged into the rapidly lowering sunset.

The crash sight was readily visible from a distance, smoke on the visible spectrum and a flare of dumping heat on the thermal. It was, thankfully, a far cry from any human habitations, but that was as far as the pilot's luck had carried. Bulkhead whistled softly and started towards it, guns cycled warm and sensors spread as far as he could. "Alright. Let's see who you are..."

Clutching her side as she attempted to move her body into a more defendable position, situating her leg just right that she could place her weapon on her knee to give it a little more stability in case she had to shoot, but her EM fields buzzed from the crash; pain, worry, and fear was very fresh to her. Trying to vent all of her whirling emotions she tried to even out her body’s functions. Closing her optics Ranger attempted to conjure a peaceful scene, something that would stop her servos from shaking but at the moment nothing could rid her mind of her stupidity. If she died how would she explain that to her comrades who had joined the All Spark? Hey I passed while leaking Energon after exhibiting my grand piloting skills? Opening her blue optics back to the sea of trees and her downed vessel she vented slowly, and clutched her side.

Still, with a shudder she pulled her hand away to gaze at the little bit of blue that was on it. Ranger quickly shut her optics again and pulled both of her legs in as if curling up in a ball would save her from the unfamiliar world. “This was not a wise idea,” The scout scolded herself. “I did not know what would be on this planet when I arrived, nor did I even know if the intelligence I gathered was accurate,” Leaning her helm back she sighed. “I am foolish.” Their leader would have not jumped in as she had. Sound Ranger shuffled about lifting her gun experimentally in the air, understanding while the action she had taken was not something Optimus would do it was something she had done and the past was final. Narrowing her optics at her weapon she felt satisfied as it whirred with energy. With her reasoning came acceptance and a calming sensation. The worst was over; she was not falling out of the air any longer.

After a moment of trying to ease herself out of her frightened state it occurred to her that she should be attempting contact with the rest of the Autobots, staring longingly at the downed ship she debated her chance of getting to it without harming herself further. Shifting her grip on her side she got up slowly, making sure her footing was sure. Once she stood solidly a deep vent came from her as she tried to re-route the sharp sensation of pain from the open wound.

“Just get to the ship Sound Ranger,” She muttered to herself. “Contact the Autobots that are supposed to be on this planet, then get the medical kit.” Taking a step forward she groaned, perhaps the medical kit would be her first priority.

Closer up, it was a small ship - tiny, really, a little two panel flitter like the kind Wheeljack used, and Bulkhead had had one tank churning moment before positively IDing it as absolutely NOT the Jackhammer (and also absolutely not Wheeljack's piloting unless the other mech had already met the Well while at the controls).

Tiny ship meant less of a trail of wreckage plowed through the landscape, but the same trees that had slowed the little craft's descent had wrecked the Pit out of the craft itself. Bulkhead whistled softly to himself when he got a good look at it - it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon, that was for sure. One for the salvage yard.

The real question, of course, was who was piloting it, whether they were still alive, and more importantly, whether they were going to try to shoot his head off. No one immediately in optic range, but he was picking up a still gutteringly active systems from inside the ship. ::Base, this is Bulkhead. Found the ship - this is one for the crash landing books. No one stirring. I'm gonna check out the inside.::

He got an affirmative back, with an addition of 'watch yourself' that made him snort. Yeah, no kidding. Venting, Bulkhead circled carefully around the ship, blasters hot. He had enough armor to take more of a hit than most - chances were, unless whoever was in there was less wounded and better armed than it looked like, he could take whatever they threw at him, but it didn't go to be cocky about it. Cocky got a mech deactivated.

The hatch was open. Bulkhead paused beside it, out of visual range of the interior, cycled another system vent, and surged into the opening blasters first. "Don't move!"

“Don’t move!”

The voice startled the wounded Cybertronian femme, who had managed barely to get into her ship. Her blaster went up in a reflex that she had gotten from the battles she had participated in during the war. Ranger’s face snarled down into a glare as she gazed up huge oversized mech that had appeared before her. How had she not sensed his presence? Were her sensors that messed up from the crash? Was it her wound? Had that rattled something within her circuits to not allow her to sense this huge male ? Lifting her weapon so that it was level with the other mech’s chest Ranger attempted to secure footing on the slanted ground.

As she dug her heels into the rickety metal Ranger also tried to mask the obvious shaking within her legs. Her body’s injuries had substantially given her a vertigo effect; the world had a tendency to slide a little to the right if she moved to fast. If it was from Engergon loss, her overloaded pain receptors or the atmosphere of the new planet Ranger could not accurately tell. Only thing she could tell was that there was a large obviously Cybertronian male pointing his blasters at her face. Puffing her little self-up she vented as quietly as she could before collecting her thoughts into bits that her voice box could transfer into words.

“I shall move when I please!” She growled, trying to sound stronger than she actually was. “I know what side of the alliance you stand but I do not wish to engage in battle,” Ranger understood if the male was Decepticon it was very unlikely that he would care that she was injured, but it was a chance she had to make. Shifting her pede she lifted her wounded hand away from the gash on her side and towards the area that the medical kit was stashed. Her gaze shifted and she winced as the world suddenly tilted dramatically to the right again, and in turn her legs began to wobble more. “I do not wish, trouble.” Was all she managed to get out before having to drop her gun and throw out her Energon covered hand to grasp for a wall or handle. Being that she was barely inside of her ship there was no such thing; so she lifted her foot and shifted it in a attempt to keep the little balance she had, but she did not bother lifting her weapon again in fear that it would throw her balance off.

She shut her optics and prayed to Primus that the male was not her enemy.

Bulkhead dithered for approximately 8.3 nanokliks - the femme didn't sound much on the friendly side of things, her whole clipped diction echoing sort of upper caste snobbish to his audials, but on the other hand she didn't look like much. Then again, Arcee didn't look like much either until she was up in your space faster than a turbofox with her pede planted in your faceplates, and Bulkhead had revised his mental estimate of the two-wheeler from "not much" to "flaming death from an angle you weren't expecting" after one round of sparring with her. It had been a lingering lesson in not underestimating someone just because they weren't a heavy armored frontliner.

So he was still trying to decide - to lower the blasters or not? - when the femme wobbled to the side, her own weapon dropping, and that decided for him. "Whoa! Hey, hold on..." He snapped his blasters back, hands re-emerging, and stepped forward to catch her as she wobbled again, easily avoiding her equally wobbling gun. "Here, sit down, put that away - how bad are you hurt? There a med kit in this thing?"

Sound Ranger blinked her optics rapidly trying to dispel the tilting world. The hands that grabbed her were large and kept her from falling towards the ground of what was left of her ship. It took a moment before her audial receptors registered the fact that the other Cybertronian was speaking;

“Whoa!” Hey, hold on… Here, sit down, put that away – how bad are you hurt? There a med kit in this thing?”

Fumbling for a moment Ranger switched out her gun for her hand and found the floor with a grunt. She looked up pathetically at the male and sighed. “There is a med kit over at the far end of the ship, I was trying to reach it before you surprised me,” Shifting she pressed her hand over the wound on her side again. “I am damaged; I am not sure how badly I am not a medic. Although I am sure it was from my… landing.” Looking away embarrassed by her lack of flying skills she shut her optics before opening them again to look at the male before her. Damn he was one big male, she had never seen one so big in girth. Sound Ranger had only ever seen many larger warrior males from a distance, and while they looked huge from afar this male took the Energon for the largest male the little femme had ever seen. Ranger shifted holding her side tightly and puffing out her chest a little, she had to look at least a little bit big; she could not look fragile and helpless, because she was frightened by his presence. This Cybertronian was large, and an unknown to her, he was not data that she could research, but a physical being she had to deal with.

After pausing for a moment she pushed her fear aside; “I am a Autobot, do you know of any more here on this planet?”

Sound Ranger could feel her spark flaring in fear once again with doubts; what if he was a Decepticon? It was irrational but she did not know if the Cybertronian before her was trustworthy. But a leap of faith was what she needed to accomplish right now, hopefully she was not alone an that the information she had found had been correct, perhaps the Autobots where seeking asylum here. There had been no data on Decepticons within this planet so perhaps it was safe.

She looked over towards the male and smiled. He seemed kind, maybe everything would be alright, even if there were no other Autobots.

Standard med patch kit - at least the little shuttle had that much. Bulkhead wasn't any kind of medic in anyone's wildest dreams either. He did, however, like any other frontliner, have a lot of practice with the rudimentary first aid of patching minor leaks and splits, either on himself or others. He snagged the kit - still sealed, everything in it - and brought it back to the femme's side, snapping it open to get at the wonderful little canister of nanite neural spray that came in most kits and was the first thing to run out.

"Here," he told her a bit awkwardly, pushing her hands out of the way, "let's get this numbed up first."

The spray was ice cold on the first hit, with a spreading numbness after that, and Bulkhead sprayed the wound in the femme's side with a good dose until she sagged back, frame unlocking from the autonomic response to pain. It wasn't too bad, he thought, now that he could get a good look at it, but it was still sluggishly draining energon in phosphore blue ribbons down her side and she'd need a weld. She was such a tiny thing, too - an amount of energon he'd have shrugged off as a mesh wound might be a good bit worse for her, but Bulkhead didn't know. Gritting his dente, he dug out a mesh patch and pressed it over top of the wound, holding it until it could seal and at least try to keep the energon inside her where it belonged.

Basics taken care of, he could spare time for her questions. Autobot... well, she hadn't shot him, which was a point in favor of believability, but she also couldn't really aim to do it in the first place when she was wobbling on her pedes. "Yeah," he answered her, "could say I know where they are. You're looking at one." He tilted a thumb towards his own chassis. "Bulkhead. And if you can give me a name and an ident we can see about getting you somewhere better than here."

The little femme watched as the large male grabbed the med kit and came over to her, with a snap it opened up to reveal its contents and he seemed to grab the nanite spray with ease as if he had done this procedure before. She smiled at the can, she had forgotten that the ship had been stocked with it.

“Here, let’s get this numbed up first”

Sound Ranger lifted her arm away from the wound for him to spray it and winced as the cold spray hit her side, and the numbness was quickly spreading from the site that he was concentrating the spray on. But her frame did sag with relief as she felt the pain dissipating finally. Ranger did not realize how long or how bad the pain was until it was finally gone. The femme vented and set her other arm back to keep herself from slouching over now that she was pain free, granted still a little lightheaded from the amount of Energon she had lost but she was better now. Blinking her optics she refocused on the green giant as he pressed a mesh patched over the gash in her side. Giving him an almost nonexistent nod she placed her hand over the wound again and shifted to a more comfortable and appropriate sitting position. “Thank you.” Sound Ranger said with a shy smile gracing her face.

“Yeah, could say I know where they are. You’re looking at one. Bulkhead. And if you can give me a name an ident we can see about getting you somewhere better than here.”

Sound Ranger watched with obvious joy as Bulkhead pointed at himself and named himself an Autobot. “They are here?” She spoke rapidly struggling to stand, “You an Autobot? Really? My intel was not false!” What she wanted to say though was that she was happy that she was not alone. Sound Ranger refrained from leaking and took a steadying and unnecessary breath. “It is a pleasure to meet you Bulkhead. I am Sound Ranger, I was a scout during the war,” Her smile was broad and a little silly. “And I sided with the Autobots, and I still am. If you are able I would like to rejoin you. Even if the war is not here on this planet.” Sound Ranger slid over the idea that perhaps the war was not on this planet, in fact she partially prayed to Primus it was not, but if it was she was prepared to fight again.

...IF the war is here on the planet... Bulkhead covered his surprise in a hard exvent that could have just come from scrunching himself down in the little ship. "Wow, um... yeah, your intel's a little out of date."

The femme was looking at him with wide, attentive optics and Bulkhead huffed a little, rubbing a hand over the back of his neckplates. "It's just, ah... this is the front line. 'Con's've got a warship in orbit." He grimaced. "Speakin' of which - we need to get you outta here. They'll have tracked your orbital entry." He waggled the blunt, thick servoes of one hand at her. "Besides, you need a weld and I'm scrap at welding, sorry. Hold on a klik, lemme radio base."

::Friendly or need backup?:: Steeljaw asked the moment the comm activated.

::Friendly, I think,:: Bulkhead replied promptly. ::Can you get Blaster to run me an ident on a 'Sound Ranger'? Tiny thing, says she's a scout. Intel sounds old, might've been MIA for awhile.::

::Please hold, sir, while I transfer your call,:: came back the reply, in the cassette's blandest imitation of a switchboard operator voice.

It was all routine from there - a bit of a pause while Blaster dug up the femme's record, matched frame and voice print - positive, and another small pause while Bulkhead forwarded the news to Optimus with another positive if very terse response to the ex-Wrecker's request to bring the femme in for medical treatment and later debriefing.

He gave her a grin and a thumb's up, though he realized belatedly she wouldn't be able to recognize the earth based gesture. "Ok, you're all cleared. They're gonna send a bridge - way too far for you in the shape you're in. Speaking of, can you walk? And there anything in here you need?" He gestured a hand around the small interior of the ship.

“Wow, um… yeah, your intel’s a little out of date. Its’s just, ah… this is the front line. ‘Con’s’ve got a warship in orbit.” She watched him grimace and repeated his motion at the information. “Speakin’ of which – we need to get you outta here. “They’ll have tracked your orbital entry.” Sound Ranger watched as he wagged his servoes at her and frowned at the gesture. She had never gotten scolded before, it was an odd idea. “Besides, you need a weld and I’m scrap at welding, sorry. Hold on a klick, lemme radio base.”

As he paused to communicate with the base Ranger leaned against the wall. She was back in the war, back by the Autobots sides. She could care less about being on the front lines she was back with her comrades and that’s all that mattered to her. Looking around she tried to find anything of importance. Was there anything that she needed from this tiny craft? Its dented interior reminded her of the epic entry into the atmosphere and her lovely landing. With a sigh she placed her head against the steel and just shook her head at herself. There was nothing she needed.

“Ok, you’re all cleared. They’re gonna send a bridge – way too far for you in the shape you’re in. Speaking of, can you walk? And there anything in here you need?” Ranger watched as he gestured to the ship and shrugged her shoulders.

“I do not need anything from this ship, it is too badly damaged and I was in a rush anyways and did not grab any personal effects before I took flight. As for walking.” Straightening herself up she placed a hand on her side and lurched forward in a uncertain fashion. The world shifted but she remained stable. “I,” Ranger managed to get to a good bit closer to Bulkhead, and she felt very intimidated by his girth. “Will be fine, Bulkhead correct?” She glanced at him and gave him a kind smile, but then her grin fell slightly. “It is regrettable to hear that the Decepticons are indeed here. But I shall remain by your side if you allow me to. I will help in any way possible to further your cause.” Turning her optics to his she smiled again. “Now, I will follow your lead sir, for I do not know where this bridge will appear.”

Bulkhead put out a hand - just in case the femme needed it, Primus knew her mass wasn't going to rock him - and gestured her out the hatch of the small ship. "Outside - not enough room in here for a bridge. C'mon."

He ushered her out. She wobbled a bit but managed well enough - gyros didn't look quite stable, in that way you got when there wasn't enough energon in your lines, but not so bad that she was falling over just yet. Bulkhead stuck close and signaled base again once they were clear of the ship. ::Ok, bridge away. Gonna need a cleanup on this ship, asap.::

::You can take care of that once you've dropped off our new guest,:: Steeljaw shot back. The comm signal was still crackling as the ground bridge spiraled open, quantum energies rippling through the air in lurid green yards away from where they stood.

"There we are," Bulkhead said, indicating it with a grin. "Quick trip home, and the Doc - Ratch' - he'll get that scratch all squared right away for you."

“Outside – not enough room in here for a bridge. C’mon.”

Sound Ranger allowed him to usher her out with her nearly shot balance, the world was very wobbly but maintained a straight enough trajectory for her optics to keep her on a course that continued her on a linear path. Ranger debated reaching out to lean on the gigantic Autobot that was hurrying her out of the vessel but decided otherwise; it could be seen as a sign of weakness. The little robot reminded herself that she was no longer in the decimated cities of Cybertron and that a showing a miniscule amount of weakness maybe healthy for her. Gazing up at Bulkhead she watched as she stuck close to her and one they were clear of the ship, more than likely radioed the base of which he was taking her to.

Suddenly a rippling green vortex opened a yard or so away from them, the beauty of the ground bridge’s colors took Sound Ranger by surprise for a moment, only to be brought back down to the rather tense and partially dire situation by Bulkhead’s voice. “There we are,” He said, she watched as a grin spread across his face and mimicked the gesture without much thought. He was quite a nice Autobot to be around; at least that was her impression. “Quick trip home, and the Doc – Ratch’ – he’ll get that scratch all squared right away for you.” Scratch? Ranger looked down at her wound, to her it felt more like a gouge into her internal servers but to a massive mammoth like Bulkhead it probably only was a scratch.

“I cannot wait to meet him,” She spoke with genuine excitement, but then her voice fell a little silent as some nervousness threatened her spark. What if she was not needed? But with a quick push she removed the fear from her forthright mind and focused on the swirling energies of the bridge. As Bulkhead began to move through it she followed quickly, fascinated by the energy that sparked off her. It was a quick ride and they were then inside of the base, and shock and awe filled Sound Ranger’s face, a small smile gracing her lips.

"Here we are," Bulkhead announced, and yeah, ok, it wasn't the grandest thing, but the big open space of the main control room was familiar and home sweet home. "Safe and sound - right, Steeljaw?"

The gold symbiont stood up from the monitors, stretching in a long line of gold plating before he came to sit on the edge of the control console. "If you mean, are there any Decepticons on your tail, then yes, you're safe and sound and the 'Cons probably tracked that landing but they're taking their sweet time responding." He inclined his head to the small femme beside Bulkhead. "Hello. I'm Steeljaw, you must be Sound Ranger, and..." a tiny pause, one upright audial twitching, "...you're injured. Bulkhead!"

"What?" Bulkhead put his hands up defensively, taking an automatic half step back. "We patched it, she's fine! Ok, maybe not FINE fine, but she's ok, and I was gonna take her to the doc right now, right? Right!" Escaping the narrow opticed glare Steeljaw was leveling at him, Bulkhead tapped Sound Ranger lightly on the shoulder. "Hey, c'mon. Medbay's just through here, you can get patched up proper." He indicated the door off of the main room that housed the medic's domain.

"Show her where to go and then get your aft back here!" Steeljaw called after them. "You need to go strip that ship and I'm not sitting your entire monitor shift for you!"

"Yeah, yeah, I hear ya," Bulkhead grumbled good naturedly. "Don't worry, we'll get your ship taken care of," he assured the femme. "Getting pretty good at that, what with how many people come in hot. Startin' to think this planet's got something against being landed on."

Being away from the horrible loneliness that had been driving her crazy and back into comforting and familiar arms she smiled warmly at the. She wanted to say something but before she could even say anything. “Hello. I’m Steeljaw, you must be Sound Ranger, and… you’re injured. Bulkhead!” Lifting her hand and waved it slightly.

“Bulkhead did a fine job patching me up, I am not as dizzy as I was before. There is no need to scold him.” Her voice was soft but she managed to speak, it was probably the shock of finding more of her kind that kept her nearly silent, or perhaps the joy.

”What?” Sound Ranger turned slightly to watch as the large Autobot put his hands up and take a step back. “We patched it, she’s fine! Ok, maybe not FINE fine, but she’s okay, and I was going to take her to the doc right now, right? Right!” Rolling her optics she shifted to take in the view of the base only to be tapped on her slight shoulder. Turning again to give the large bot her full attention she smiled as he spoke. “Hey, c’mon. Medbay’s just through here, you can get patched up proper.” With a shift of his hand she watched him mention to the door.

“Show her where to go and then get your aft back here!” Blinking her optics in shock at the power of Steeljaw’s voice she nearly stumbled. “You need to go strip that ship and I’m not sitting your entire monitor shift for you!”

Beside her Sound Ranger heard Bulk grumble then say to her, “Don’t worry, we’ll get your ship taken care of, getting pretty good at that, what with how many people come in hot. Startin’ to think this planet’s got something against being landed on.”

She blink, “There are more of us? More coming in from other areas?” Sound Ranger sounded a little giddy and she was. “Wonderful!” The bot breathed, then she said; “It’s the magnetic fields around this planet, I think. Well, something messed with my controls but I am not that great at flying a ship I never had any lessons in the first place.”
