Hearing what Miko had just said made Hazmat do a double take, though in his vehicle form it took the form of his dorsal and front bumper nozzles quickly turning to face Miko along with his holoform turning it's head to look at her. "Come again? Blew a hole in the ceiling? How did that happen and who was responsible for that??" he asked as he quickly turned the nozzles to face forwards again so no one driving passed them would think the truck's driver was having issues. However when she continued in wondering how he knew about extra credit, he had his holoform give her a puzzled look before turning his head again to face forwards.
"Eh? Isn't that what you do at this 'school' of yours? Conduct experiments and complete projects to earn credits to spend on upgrades for your chassis? That's how it worked back on Cybertron in the custodial department. I took on the dangerous assignments to earn some extra credits for upgrades to my weapons." he stated in a confused but matter-of-fact tone, not fully realizing he had made an assumption. As they went passed the first park, the black and green crash truck noticed that several vehicles were parked along the side of the road, along with using blinking lights on their sides to indicate if they were pulling over or coming out. That was good to know. He could use that when they reached their destination.
As they continued onward and the talkative human continued to explain how she was going to do her project, Hazmat considered exploring the town as she did her stuff in the park. It could be very informative and an interesting learning experience, but the truth was that he didn't know all of the humans driving laws, so exploring might have to wait for another day. "Just be careful while you're in that park, alright? A big rig like me driving into the center of the park if you get in trouble might do more harm then good." Hazmat said with concern.
With that he turned on his turn signal and carefully decelerated as he pulled over to the curb. When he came to a stop, the haloform turned it's head to Miko and shrugged. "It would look a little awkward if the door opened itself. And yes, I'll look for a side street."
