Javelin literally saw the moment Prowl’s processor heard the word “truce”.
A slight widening of the eyes, stiffening of the frame. It was subtle, but there.
Javelin never heard of Prowl, she was never in close proximity with any of the movers and shakers of the Autobot faction. Her battles were usually on distant planets, distant battlefields, though she had seen action in a few of the larger, well known fights. Even then, she was usually not close to Autobot command, and only saw those figures clear across the battlefields.
So Javelin wasn’t aware just how much of a “tell” that was for the mech.
“Files of MECH, general files that is, are available on your datapad once it’s given to you. Likewise the details of the truce. I’m not sure how much detail you will be given - whether general information like most of us have access to, or more. That will be up to Red Alert and Optimus, of course. Once they give the all clear, you'll be given a datapad, or else if you have one of your own, it will be updated."
Javelin turned off the monitor, letting it go back to it’s more common “standby” mode, and turned back to him.
“Optimus is most likely either in the medibay with Ratchet, or else in his personal quarters keeping abreast of the latest information. There’s usually a lot, and he probably doesn’t want to be bothered at the moment. Once he is available, he’ll be out and about, usually here, in the Control Room. All our alerts, information and updates, as well as communications, come through this station here, so he’s often around here.
I suggest you take a walk around the base, get the layout in your processor first. Omega Base isn’t large, but we’ve made the best of what we have. You'll also need to check in with Ratchet in the Medibay. He'll give you clearance for active duty.
Oh, there’s one other thing.” Javelin took an invent, then vented it out slowly, “There is currently a rationing of Energon going on. We never were drowning in the resource to begin with, but now with the truce, we can’t raid the Decepticon mines, and we have no mining abilities ourselves at the moment. So…get used to low fuel, for now.”
