As Petrichor began to describe an area that she’d seen, Bumblebee would carefully ease back a little more. As he dangled here, he was quickly getting used to everything and was starting to genuinely relax.
Hearing her speak so fondly helped. If he were in any danger at all? Things would be very different, he was sure. No casual conversation, no reminiscing. It was still mindblowing to him that this was even a thing, but it was something he’d never even heard about until now. But clearly it had its uses!
--Oh, wow! I never got to see the mountains myself. My unit wasn’t anywhere near that area, though a couple of my teammates talked about them. That's amazing though that you got to climb it, I bet the view was worth it, huh? Even despite the storm cutting things short.
While it’s nowhere near the same, there are some areas here on Earth that are like that - not with metal veins and stuff, just… areas that are really pretty? Or at least, they look it on the pictures! I’ll have to get Raf to find them again and show you!--
While they lived in what seemed to be a rather boring part of the planet, what with the desert and cacti and… not much else? There were parts of the world that were simply amazing, and he found himself fascinated by them. Mountains made of different colored rocks, waterfalls that seemed to go on for an eternity, salt flats that shimmered like water… Then all the ruins and things from humans who lived a long time ago.
And that was probably not even half of what this planet had to offer!
As the femme’s tone turned wistful, he’d look down at her, nodding.
--Maybe one day we can find out!-- a little bit of hope to his beepy trills, he’d relax his grip just slightly - though not to the point of letting go. --Y’never know, maybe with erosion and stuff? They’ll somehow look even better!--
