--Ah, yeah- I uh, don’t think it’s good for them to be around in general.--
There was a gentle whir as his optics narrowed into a frown at the thought. While he did his best to keep Raf away from physical harm, sometimes it slipped his mind that things like the very energon that ran through his lines were dangerous to humans. Not that he was exposed to it here around the base, but an attack from the Decepticons or MECH when out and about could end badly in more ways than one.
Pushing these thoughts aside, he listened as Skirmisher spoke about Vault. He sounded like a pretty great guy - and the fact he could take down bigger mechs even despite not being the tallest mech around was something that resonated with Bee. Part of him wished he could’ve met him, if only to trade stories. Even here on Earth, Bee had taken down Skyquake like it was nothing - which would surely earn him some points in the coolness factor.
--He sounds like an awesome guy!-- he chirped, beeps sincere. --And aw, I guess even some Towerlings were pretty cool when it came down to it, huh?--
That seemed like a rarity. He didn’t know many Towerlings at all, really, and the things he’d heard about them hadn’t been great. But the fact Vault had been one and yet took on the role of an Enforcer spoke volumes to his character.
The last part certainly piqued his curiosity - Skirmisher definitely didn’t seem the type to be locked away in a holding cell, and while he wanted to ask just what’d happened? He wouldn’t pry.
Instead, he would nod in response to the other mech’s question.
--Oh, well that’s what I mean. There’s those three, mainly, then the three kids. But we do get the occasional visit from Fowler’s other men just to check in. Well, we did. Maybe they don't need to do so with Laura and Nathan here more full-time.--
He wasn’t really privy to that stuff. Raf was his charge - and a lack of being able to really communicate with other humans meant he wasn’t involved for the most part. Should orders come in that concerned him, it would of course be passed on, but he rarely interacted with Fowler and the things he was involved with.
Glancing to the laptop, he hadn’t realized just how dusty it - and everything else - actually was until Skirmisher pointed it out.
--The dust is kinda understandable, since we live in a desert. I think it doesn’t help that this place was unused for a while before we moved in, it was an old missile silo or something, and was probably just used as storage.--
The next comment was met with a gentle tilt of his helm.
--Aw, no - you’re right, in a way. Though humans are so fascinating regardless. Even without armor or things like that, they’re fearless and able to do amazing things. Like climbing mountains or swimming in really deep water even though they can’t breathe down there. They adapt!-- he perked up as he spoke, obviously interested in the topic.
--As for toilets… uh…-- a beepy hum escaped him, optics whirring. --I aaaam not sure. That’d be a question for Raf, probably. I never thought to really ask about it, y’know? Just one of those things that never got brought up. Maybe if we find a pallet of toilets though we can see if they’re still needed, maybe?--
He wasn’t sure how it all worked, having never given it much thought until this moment. There was plenty of things he didn’t know about humans, which probably wasn’t a bad thing, all things considered.
