Taking note of the kneejerk reaction, Windshield took a step back with a light chuckle, only to be met with a question as to the medic's purpose. Well, it was a valid enough request, he supposed and began to explain—especially since Soundwave cheered him on from the rafters.
"Soundwave thinks you're something of an artist, so today we're going to put your talents to good use, and since you're a medic, you are going to help us doctor the prop as well."
A two-in-one combo, quite perfect for their ends, this Knock Out. As he explained, Windshield began to pace around the place, steepling his digits and throwing his torso slightly upwards in a casual manner, his index fingers click-clacking against one another.
Step to the right, step to left, around the medic, then to the gore. He took care not to step too close, nor with too heavy a step. Wouldn't want to leave behind any of that nasty evidence, now, would we?
"This here is—or rather was—a soldier who tragically perished in the capture of the Autobot's acting CMO."
He tilted his head towards the pile, a pensive pout flashed across his face on the late Eradicon's account. He lingered on the gesture for a little bit before swapping almost immediately to a more positive attitude.
"Now, the Autobots don't know we did this yet, so I intend to make it look like a classic MECH operation, and the body over there?"
Windshield paused, approaching closer towards Knock Out yet again. The steepled fingers clasped together, palms pressed tightly.
"Will be my double! You're going to paint it and gut it of the most important organs. Nobody will suspect me of the crime, much less that I'm alive—and it will buy us some precious time with the prisoner while they investigate the wrong leads."
Quite done with his little explanation, he settled into an idle position near Soundwave and tossed the medic a friendly smile.
"If you have any notes, by all means, do voice your concerns."
The hacker was searching for feedback as if this was a business meeting of sorts or a rehearsal upon the stage. Ever the perfectionist, Windshield always looked for ways to be better at the worst possible things. Clamoring for the opinions of his fellow Decepticons helped more than once. Knock Out had to be a smart sort if he was a medic. As much as the other mech had a propensity towards dishonesty, he fully intended to listen.
