A bit of a strange statement coming from a Cybertronian? Perhaps. But these two lacked the aversion to organic matter that a decent handful of their counterparts seemed to possess. “Dusty” was bearable. In her mind, there were far worse things to put up with.
The prior statement about Starscream and Soundwave being present did not go unnoticed. While a bit curious as to why Megatron had not been included among them, she was still surprised to hear that any of Decepticon high command was stationed on this planet to begin with. So surprised, in fact, that her optics visibly widened as she tried to wrap her head around the concept.
…And to think they never would have found out about any of this if their ‘commander’ had chosen anywhere else to make a pitstop. Fate worked in funny ways, didn’t it?
A small smile would cross Dagger’s face upon receiving the news that the two of them had been cleared to return to the base, though it would fade slightly upon catching the nervous look Flux was sporting. Though oblivious to his memory problems, he could at the very least tell that something was causing the mech some sort of distress.
Should he ask him what was bothering him? He didn’t want to make him feel awkward by calling attention to it, but at the same time, he didn’t want to ignore a potential problem. Hopefully, if some sort of help was necessary, he would make it known.
“Yeah, of course we wanna go back!” He let out a light laugh at this, unsure of what bot in their right mind would pick the alternative. “Ah, well, when you can take us back. I had a feeling you might have been in the middle of doing something before we interrupted ya."

He smiled, looking at Arrow. While the statement to some may come across as weird - because who in their right mind would like organic muck like dirt - Flux found the statement weirdly refreshing.
“I can take it or leave it, though given the dust at base, ain’t like we have a choice.” he chuckled. The only part he really found wrong with Blackridge Hold was- okay, well there were two things. The fact it was underground, and the fact everything looked the damn same. Seen one rock lined corridor, seen them all - even if the base itself wasn’t exactly a labyrinth or confusing in the slightest, he’d yet to properly navigate it without finding himself lost.
At least he hadn’t been called out on it yet, at least that he could remember. Though with Cintra around he didn’t have to worry too much - she always had a way of finding him should he be ‘missing’ for too long.
His attention shifted to Dagger then as he spoke, and he’d nod - still smiling.
“Me? Oh, nah - I uh. I was just patrolling.”
That was as good an excuse as any, forgetting the oh-so “important” shopping list he’d been given by Cintra, even if he’d technically found one (or two!) things on that list simply by chance.
“Let me see ‘bout getting a bridge open, unless you guys have anything you need to grab before we head back?”
Living by themselves on this unfamiliar planet, he figured that maybe they had some sort of area they retreated to where they’d stashed things of importance, as such he would refrain from calling on Soundwave once more - at least for a moment.
Arrow gave a small nod of acknowledgement as Flux explained to the two of them that he had been on a patrol. She didn’t have any input to add in regards to that bit of information, necessarily, but the second statement would compel her to speak up again. “Well…there really isn’t anything to take back, I don’t think. Everything we need is on us.” Figuring that this statement might need to be accompanied by a bit of context, she continued.
“You see, when I said we got "dropped" out here...I meant we got thrown out here. From a moving ship. All we had was ourselves. Commander wasn’t very pleased with us.” She cringed ever so slightly at the memory, remembering how it had felt to plummet through the air. She fancied herself a daredevil, true, and didn’t typically shy away from heights. But...hurtling towards your potential doom with no way of protecting yourself was a bit different. Yet, it had certainly been a blessing to have a sibling that could fly in that moment.
An attempt was made to pull herself back to the present moment. She tried to think of any potential items of importance that might have been left at their various camping sites, but her mind only drew a blank. Their weapons and necessary tools were on their person, and any energon that they had had with them had been used up quite some time ago.

“Yeah. Like Arrow said, we don’t really…have anything,” Dagger would add, echoing the sentiment the previously mentioned femme had expressed. “There’s a lot of stuff I would have liked to have brought with me if I knew I was gonna get tossed out on this planet, but…it’s not like I can do anything about it now.”
At this, he would give a small frown, with an accompanying dip of his wings that wasn't entirely intentional. He was, of course, less than pleased about the loss of his personal property, but the situation was beyond his control. The only thing he could do now was try to make do with what he had.
“You can probably go ahead and ask ‘em to open that bridge if you want. Unless there’s something else you need to do first.”
Flux was quiet as he listened to the twins speak, frowning gently at their words as his gaze drifted between them. They were dropped on this planet? Quite literally at that, if he was hearing right.
“Oh man, that’s prob’ly a story for another time once you’re settled in, huh? Sorry you were thrown out of a ship, though. At least you landed somewhere pretty nice all things considered!”
He was curious. How could he not be. Though he knew better than to ask outright just what’d warranted them being dumped on this planet. Had their Commander known that the majority of the Decepticon forces were here? Had he hoped to strand them somewhere at random in the hopes they’d either perish in the fall, or through starvation?
If that was the case, they were both exceptionally lucky. Here at least they had shelter, Energon, and others of their faction. Even if the likelihood he’d remember this interaction was slim, they would remember it and could hopefully seek him out later to tell him what happened - if they wanted to do so, of course.
Nodding at Dagger, it was then he’d smile.
“Aight, yeah - I can do that. I don’t need to do anything, like I said, was just out patrolling.”
Cintra could deal (for now) with the fact he hadn’t brought anything shiny back with him - after all, two new Decepticons? Way more important than decorating their already bright and colorful side of the room!
Lifting one servo to the side of his helm, a quiet ping was sent. He couldn’t help but feel like he was forgetting to pass on some important detail to the twins, though that was basically normal for him - and he was certain that any information he forgot to pass on would be explained once they were back at Blackridge Hold.
Spiraling to life nearby, the swirling vortex of a bridge would erupt from nothingness.
“After you guys!” lowering his arm, he would smile again, gesturing to the portal.
