Clouded water had rushed in to gently hug his sides. An automated response triggered his vents to close, to prevent the slug from clogging his systems. Didn’t change that he was a mess. Laying there, motionless, the Seeker’s optics remained shuttered and offline.
Seemed like a good time to question his life choices.
Yeah, he was fine. The resonating sting that shot through his wings settled into a throb that… well if he was honest, would have been disregarded if he’d been in any danger. In the relative safety out in the sticks, with no hint of Autobot or human activity? He could afford to take a click to recover. Knowing there were other, residual complications, he had yet to evaluate. He wasn’t looking forward to it; so, he didn’t initiate the reboot to get his optics online, instead taking a moment.
There was peace until the twins descended from their arboreal perches. The squelching of their pedes, turning up the saturated earth alerted them to their approach. He sure wasn’t sensing them distinctly, with his sensors currently submerged.
He really should boot up. Most of the meaning behind the words went unnoticed, the concern in the tones of the mechling were clear enough. Frag though, he just didn’t want to…
What in Primus' name were they doing?
As he was. effectively. handled by the pair, Krieg was taken aback. It was likely quite a feat to pull him up, caked mud trying to hold him in place, only to give way from the earth to cling to the back and edges of his wings. Organic slime from marsh foliage hung on the edge, until he was pulled up at an angle where it began to slide down, dropping into the shallow water.
Finally allowing the bootup cycle to complete, albeit not as quickly as they would in an emergency, it was when something solid smacked into his wing that the Seeker unshuttered his glowing red optics, to be met with a face full of Arrow.
Well this was awkward.
Regardless of how she responded, he’d take over the task of keeping himself upright, turning his helm to catch sight of the small jet.
“You alright Deadlift?” It came out a bit more genuine than he might have liked, but it’d been a trial getting out of the tree.
