"Nah, seagulls eat trash. Pigeons eat seed, I think," Jack said, staring at the mural again with MORE thoughts of what to draw. He pointed up between Thundercloud's towers with a blackened finger. "Some could go right there. Hassle any Decepticons that might try to land."
There was a small smile on his face, reserved but good-natured. He looked back at Thundercloud, saying, "Or we could draw you up there. It could be a clone of you, making sure no one is messing with us on the ground." The fact Thundercloud was batch-built and thus had potentially many identical brothers and sisters was lost on him.
"Or we could draw another monster to fight the one with all the teeth," Jack suggested. "Something like...Mecha-Godzilla. He's Godzilla, but a robot like you. I think. Miko knows all the monster movies."
He frowned thoughtfully. "Do they have movies on Cybertron?" They probably did, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Besides, making conversation helped put Jack at ease with this toothy flier. He was reminded a bit of Vince, unfortunately, but not in ways that were bad. Thundercloud had a bit of a mean streak, but he wasn't actively trying to bully Jack, and took an interest in what Jack was doing. He seemed...okay, if a bit rough around the edges.

Thundercloud looked from Jack to the mural, trying to picture the kid's suggestions as he made them. He'd have to give Jack a lift if they were gonna put something flying around the top of the towers, or find him a ladder or a bunch of boxes to stand on or something. He didn't know what exactly the rules were when it came to moving humans around – he figured so long as they were cool with it, it would be alright, but maybe that was just wishful thinking. Maybe there was some kind of unspoken rule that the humans couldn't be lifted more than a certain height off the ground, or maybe there had to be a witness or something around to make sure nobody got accused of dropping one of the little guys on purpose. He knew Red Alert would probably freak the hell out about it regardless, since he didn't even like the humans hitching rides, but what the SD didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
Before he could offer Jack a hand up, the kid made another suggestion – something called Mecha Godzilla, which sounded rad as hell even if the name itself was pretty uninspired. He looked at the lizard monster he had drawn, wondering what bits and bobs he would have to add to turn it into a mechanized version of itself. He'd probably add a shit ton of laser cannons or something. Maybe some arm blades.
Before he could settle on a design, Jack asked a question that might've rubbed a prouder Cybertronain the wrong way. The idea that Cybertron could've existed for so long and made so many technological advancements but never come up with the idea of cinema was a little offensive – but also a perfectly valid take, if you asked Thundercloud. Their species had been at war for longer than human civilization even existed. It wasn't unfair to assume that they might not have had a thriving entertainment industry, considering where their priorities seemed to lie.
“Yeah, movies were a thing. Had CGI like you wouldn't believe.”
Smiling, Thundercloud decided to demonstrate by summoning up his holoform – it was tech Jack was already familiar with, but Thundercloud didn't think the kid would've ever thought about holos in the context of film.
Thundercloud's holo wasn't especially high quality – it flickered into existence with a bit of a struggle, the empty silhouette of a tall, muscular man appearing against the mural as the holo's details rendered. Blond hair, a black denim jacket with the sleeves torn off, ripped jeans, a pair of Doc Martens with purple laces, a piercing in one brow and a scar over the other, multiple piercings in the ears and a labret piercing below the lip – Thundercloud had taken care to make sure his holo communicated punk at a single glance, going so far as to give it a black eye and a subconjunctival hemorrhage along with bruised, scabbed knuckles to really sell the look.
Once the render had finished, Thundercloud's holo cocked its head and grinned, flashing a sharp smile to match its owner's. Though detailed, there was an occasional glitch in image quality – split seconds here and there where the shading was off or the light didn't seem to bend correctly when it touched the holo.
Jack took a step back from the holoform as it appeared. It was out of reflex, the boy suddenly aware of someone in his space and reacting accordingly. He studied it, considered it, having a thoughtful look on his face as Thundercloud made his comments. The boy turned back to the mural, sketching out another outline.
"Hold that thought," Jack said. He moved quickly, but with the hesitating uncertainty of an inexperienced artist. He kept looking back at the holo, then at the drawing that had sprung from his fingertips. First came the muscular arms...then the shoulders...ripped jeans...a torn jacket.... It appeared that Thundercloud's human form was joining the motley group on the mural. It took a place beside Thundercloud's true form, grinning a sharp grin that, in all honesty, looked kind of dorky with how Jack drew it.
"There," he said. "Made sense to put you there. Maybe you should have Mecha-Godzilla at your feet, beaten to a pulp." He looked at Thundercloud's holo again, frowning.
"Why do you look like you just got beaten up in a fight?"
