"I'm sorry, I don't mean to interro...interrogate you, Blaster. I don't like talking about myself much if someone else is feeling down. Feels shellfish. Shellfish."
Skydive's voice box crackled as his processor attempted to remember how to say what he was trying to say. Shellfish was...something else wasn't it? His optics glared into his second cube like it had the answer before ingesting more. He was going through these quick wasn't he? He kept taking gulps while he listened to his companion, not exactly taking his time... But of course he wasn't taking his time. His judgement was impaired.
The B-52 he was looking at suddenly glowed orange, then went extremely blurry. In fact, the whole room went blurry, except the area closest to him. Blaster looked fine, but everything else was - Oh.
He laughed.
"My visor just went offline. I can't see a damn thing without it!" he announced, generally unbothered and with a raised toast of his cube. Normally, he would have been highly annoyed and disoriented. Right now, he wasn't normal.
"We...exist in a bubble of clarity right now, Blaster. You an' me," he confided. He squinted, but it didn't help. His optics just weren't built for long range sight. They were far too specialized. Hence the visor. "The rest of it all is a right misty mess."
He was only stating an observation, but somehow it also sounded right for the moment. He just couldn't figure out why, and what he could do to make it all make sense...besides reactivating his visor, that is. Although, try as he might, it seemed to have short circuited completely because of the ravages of the high grade on his more delicate systems.
Maybe another cube would help it turn back on.
(( OOC: One more cube and he's completely wasted. ))
