Cleaver's optics dimmed, the holo stepping forward again into the space Cat had made for her and looking inside. There were large areas beneath the chamber that she didn't have any reliable sensor data on - all in constant, misleading flux due to the sparkling's outputs and manufacturing demands that meant that she only knew if something was twisting out of shape or getting compacted was when it hurt. Pain meant damage, meant more potential problems, meant needing help and time on her back effectively helpless should anyone who wouldn't respect the closed Medbay door come into the base.
Should be getting a full check and service by a qualified medic. As the only qualified medics she knew of in this system were Knock Out (the Decepticons could not find out there was a self-gen on the planet) and Ratchet (already overworked and after recent events she was anxious to contact the Autobots, let alone ask for help), that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
Which meant, the femme realized with a swell of dread at the realisation, she was dependent on Cat - who she could seriously harm and just as easily kill with a heated part or caustic chemical from one of those areas she had little control and no feeling in.
Cleaver's holo nodded for Cat to come forward as she reached up and pulled down a coolant bundle. It was in fair condition and working at peak capacity, the thick hoses rushing through with fluid. "Looks good, and honestly I'm struggling to tell one ache from another around here. This is what you need to watch out for, though: points that used to be a safe distance from coolant and fuel lines now threatening to pierce or compress them. It looks like this and it's healthy - see, no thinning, kinks or corrosion?"
At Cat's nod, Cleaver eased the bundle back up into the cavity between a motor and a fuel line. She indicated to the flickering cocoon of the gestation chamber through a tangle of internal lines, plates and cables. "Still not safe for you to handle or neglect to be wary of, though - sparkling is growing and being shunted around every cycle. One day, this bundle looks sound, the next it can split without warning. Minor irritations for me - chemical burns for you. Understand?"
Then, quieter, she added: "Don't want you getting hurt because of me, Cat."
