Set Day 3, week 2 around 4pm
Then:
Twenty hours prior and four levels deep in the Omega base.
"Huh, well that needs some fixing. And that. And that. And probably with a set of hands smaller than my own. Slag."
Now:
Zoom-Zoom had managed to have minimal contact with the humans that frequented the Omega base. Presumably because no one really trusted him around them. And Zoom-Zoom was fine with that. He didn't particularly care for organic species and his feelings on humans were no different.
That is not to say Zoom-Zoom ignored or underestimated them. Like any good spook, he was continually educating himself about the inhabitants of the planet he was stuck on. They'd already proven dangerous to Autobots, so of course the minibot had every bit of respect for what they were capable of. But for Zoom-Zoom, who already had trouble valuing the lives of his fellow Cybertronians anywhere near his own life, organics were so far off his scale on how much he personally cared that they didn't even register.
And now he needed to lead one down into the depths of the base, where few other mecha wandered, into a space he was almost beginning to think as his (dangerous thinking by the minibot's standards) in order to fix some of the wiring and a few broken bulbs. And while they were down there, sure there were a few air filters that needed replacing. Not that the minibot cared for the air quality or the lighting, he came with his own headlights and something had to go extremely catastrophically wrong for the air to be a worry for a Cybertronian. But he also didn't like the idea of part of the base, even unused at it was, to be slipping into disrepair. Allowing one problem to persist could lead to another and then suddenly you could be wondering why half the base doesn't have power.
And of course, it had to be Zoom-Zoom because a) he'd found the faults and b) few other mecha could fit down there. So while the minibot was displeased to be assigned to repair work, that was where his feelings on the matter ended. The only interest he had for the human assigned to work with him was whether she could do the job or not.
Zoom-Zoom stood still by the service elevator and waited for Nell to join him. The light in his visor was dim but that didn't mean that he wasn't keeping an alert optic on his surroundings. His arms were folded across his chassis and a slight frown marred his features. The cause for his expression could be any number of factors, working with a human, doing more repair work in general, living in Omega base, living on Earth, being an Autobot...it went on and on.
