Ah. Ah yes, this is exactly how the day is going to go. I can feel it in the my struts.
Roulette had zero issues with working with the enemy. Pit, when the war had started, she'd sided with the Autobots and trained with them. It had been a...good time in her life, despite everything falling to pot around her. She'd made friends, she'd finally known a decent purpose that (while not for her) was aimed in the right direction. She'd been treated with a respect she'd never known was possible by fellow mechs. They'd seen her for something other than a croupier or some little femme meant for entertainment. Or a low caste. It had been an enlightening time for her.
Too bad she had thrown it aside for her sister. That was the luck of her draw.
If any of the other idiots out there had lived just a cycle in each other's pedes for a moment, they'd get a different perspective of the war and the blinders would be taken off. Or they would be firmly in place. Roulette couldn't say but she doubted the two factions wanted to gamble that chance...it would change the war completely and there likely wouldn't be a war. Too many now existed solely for the war machine.
Annnd I made myself sad.
"Sweethearts," she cleared her vox to get all of their attention, "if we're going to survive this task, we are going to have to work together." She gave Windy a pointed look before waving a hand at all of them. Mostly for the Bot's benefit.
"I'll lead the way. We're reporting to Soundwave for some mission and, knowing him, it's going to get weird and unpleasant quickly. But we won't die! So that's a plus." She had zero faith in that mech anymore. But she did try to end that warning in an upbeat note for everyone involved.
Giving everyone a saccharine smile, she started off in the direction they were supposed to be meeting at. Airlia was still in the Bot's grasp and that was ok. She could defend herself. Windy's paranoia would keep the both of them safe. And, for the moment, Roulette didn't feel that the Bot was a threat. There was a truce in place and, slaggit, she was so tired of looking over her back and waiting for the dagger to be placed there. Which is why she pivoted around to walk backwards and grin at the Bot.
"Name's Roulette. Stop calling me lady."
