“Mhm.” Nell replied though really, she wasn't fully sure if there were a pair for adults. If there were? She wouldn't stop Bluestreak from considering scanning some for himself, even if she thought they were really just a kid thing.
As for figure of speeches, she really need to give him and the other Autobots a list of them. At least the ones most likely coming from her. At least this particular mech didn't hold it against her or anything, and she smiled a bit as they talked about decals and how the more things changed, the more they stayed the same. She gave him a slight nod, and she even gave him a small smile. “I probably would ask if there was any booze that I could drink without dyin' if I was able to visit your hometown while it was thrivin'.” She mentioned with a laugh, knowing full well that would be a no go given how she knew that would be like consuming battery acid. “But you're right, every place has the little things that you don't get. It's the same in different countries, not just towns.” She explained with a shrug.
“Some countries you can't wear shorts, your shoulders need to be covered, for women their hair needs to be covered,” Nell explained, “tipping is also one of those things that change depending on where you're at. Here in the U.S.,and several countries, you tip the waiter or waitresses right? In others the tip is automatically included in the bill, and in some? They don't expect a tip.” She didn't expect to talk to him about all of those cultural differences, but they were things he could take or leave. Who knew if they'd ever come in handy for him.
He had a point, where if you have friends about – every place was a bit more like home. It made things helpful when she was missing her father and brother. Of course, if she had no friends in the area – she did well enough to make new friends. Hell, she could say she had found friends with several of the Autobots.
Now when it came to missing her remark about him looking like Captain America, she didn't really catch his response back outside of his blatant confusion. She would ask what he was confused about – when they weren't in a cramp place that others could hear them. Instead, she was making a beeline for those band shirts she was thinking of getting. Plus there was a sale, she couldn't help herself when there was a good sale like this one. She was eyeing a Red Hot Chili Peppers tank, her own was getting old and ragged – so getting a new one sounded like a good idea. Nell seen him from the corner of her eye, making his way around the other side of the clearance table and she smiled a little. Chances were high he'd get the idea of why she called him 'Captain America' in a place like this.
“Damn, theres a lot of good shirts on sale...” She remarked as she found her size. “Just look around, you're bound to get ideas. I just know I'm going to be buying some new shirts already.” She held up the two she had already picked up. “Almost feel like I had motives to come in here during a sale.” She really didn't have any motives, but damn it was good timing! “But where would you want to go after this? Or did you just want to talk more when we get back to wandering the mall?” She asked, speaking loud enough so he could hear her over the blaring music.
