(OOC: set day 3, week 4)
...slag.
Skywarp eyed the drone hovering just out of his reach above him. He'd spent the last half hour chasing it over the flight deck before catching the drone and deciding to call it a day. Skywarp had taken the lift down back into the Nemesis and then had started to head towards the rec room to grab an energon cube.
Only- he'd forgotten to turn the drone off when he'd headed in. While it had initially struggled to escape from Skywarp's grasp, during the trip down the lift, it had stopped and gone still. And so, the seeker had forgotten about it. All it had taken was the loosening of his grip as Skywarp was walking towards his destination, his processor wondering over other matters, and then the drone was free.
Inside the halls of the Nemesis.
This wasn't like outside, where he could freely chase after the drone. Skywarp was not a very acrobatic flier, he needed space to pull off manoeuvres and that space...was not freely available on the inside of the Nemesis.
This was not good.
If only the drone wasn't manually controlled, he could have easily just sent a wireless signal to shut it down…
Thanks a lot, spindly mech.
Instead…
Skywarp lunged for the drone and it zipped out of reach in response, following its rudimentary programming to the letter.
Instead he was going to have to do this the hard way. Skywarp was all up for games when he knew had a chance of winning. He was all for them then. But he'd spent enough time playing with the drone to know just how difficult it could be to catch.
The seeker scowled once.
Then he gave chase.
Anyone unfortunate to be wandering the nearby halls would hear the loud stomps reverberating through the floor as Skywarp thundered after the drone.
