"You're welcome." Hazmat said kindly with a nod while resisting the urge to scan her with his shoulder-blade mounted scanners. While the human's vast information highway, or internet as they called it, had a bunch of information about themselves and their biology he just wanted to learn about them himself by scanning them with his scanners. However on one servo that would be rude to do without permission, and secondly he didn't know if it could harm them... and considering that the scanning beam his T-Cog emitted out of his optics to learn the alt form of a crash truck actually caused damage to the crash truck, he wasn't sure if humans were anymore robust or not. So it was best to not scan her.
And with that, his story of his service during the war continued. "As I was saying, the artillery unit Zeta was capable of moving through the enormous acid vats in the underbelly of Cybertron's cities. Some of these vats were simple storage tanks for acidic chemicals that were byproducts of until the acid could be neutralized. Others were a simple but impassible security measure for vaults. Really came in handy near the end of the war and both sides were trying to steal each other's Energon... can't still something if the only way to it results in you dissolving!" Hazmat began, though he quickly ended up going down a rabbit hole in his story of Zeta. However when he realized it, he cleared his throat and then resumed.
"Sorry, got a little off topic there. Any who, before one raid not that long after I was made the commanding officer of Zeta we found a group of Decepticons trying to drain one vat in order to get their servos on a cash of weapons. Now, their patrols were searching for Autobots on all sides..." Hazmat said, then he grinned. "But no one expects an attack force to rise from the depths of an acid vat and deploy artillery cannons. Blasted 'em all right off the face of Cybertron in pieces. The weapons cash was destroyed as well, though it turned to be antiquated weapons that were stored because their old age made them volatile and unusable. They detonated from within the vault from the shock waves of the cannons going off." Hazmat finished, then shrugged. "Never found out why the 'Cons were after such old weapons half way through the war. However emerging from acid vats to launch a barrage and then pulling back into them became a calling card for the Zeta company after that. Though when the 'Cons started deploying cannons around vats of acids that had more then one entry point that favored technique fell to the wayside." he finished with a shrug.
Glancing back at the TV, Hazmat saw that the episode of Mobile Suit Gundam had ended. It might of been a cartoon version of Pacific Rim alright, but it was far shorter. The next show that came on however was a bit more flashy... and a far more campy.
Mighty Morphing Power Rangers.
Hazmat just stared at the screen, his jaw agape, as it showed the Power Rangers calling on their zords and transforming them into the megazord in one of the most over the top ways possible. However to a Cybertronian like Hazmat, it looked like something very different. "Dinobots? A combiner made out of Dinobots?!? What is this?! What am I even looking at?!" Hazmat asked when he finally found his voice again as he watched the horned Megazord call down what looked like the Star Saber from space and use it to strike down this demon looking monster in golden armor. What was it with humans and imagining that they could build gigantic robots that they could pilot??? Maybe they did encounter Cybertronians before now, and were trying to re-imagine the mighty beings they met once.
