The bottom edges of Carbine's eyes remained crooked up as Miko complained about how unfair it was. It wasn’t his fault she got nosey and then hit a brick wall! There were no plans to relent and spill his guts to some child alien species that looked about as trustworthy as a weasel. Besides, he enjoyed the lighter tone of their discussion, amused at her questions and just what she felt was worth asking about when an entire other world and society was on the table... which evidently was prodding into silly concepts of having a crush on someone like he was a lovestruck newspark.
Wait... Arcee?
Carbine snort laughed again, unable to even imagine that in any realistic wavelength. It wasn't that he found her unattractive, no... He could appreciate most any femme out there, and she were no different. Sleek blue armor accented by varied tones of gray... a couple flashes of pink for contrast... She had some nice angles, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was the fact she had lost her last little 'partner' rather recently from what he had heard.
If Carbine were a betting man... which he was... he would put down money on 'partner' going beyond some little alliance for missions and such. Because of this, Arcee was off the table as she likely wouldn't even give him a second look, he assumed, and even if she did? She came with a ton of fresh wound baggage that was easy to trip over, making the game more of an obstacle course. Then again, if she were WANTING something... who was he to deny?
"I wo̢ul͟dn’t ͝s͡ay no if she w-were intȩrested."
Mused purr, another very accurate and true-to-self statement.
"As f-for anyone I am interes̛t͟ed i̧n? Hmm..."
'Anyone that looks nice and gives me the time of day?'
"I dòn͢'t kǹo͟w.̵ S-su̸c̢h st͏uff ain't on people's m-minds, war and all. Perha̕ps͏ ́y͞o̡u͏ co̢u̶ld help me out?"
That'd be funny, and he could work with whatever nonsense that would cause to spin in his favor.
Reaching over, Carbine plopped his hand atop Bolo's head then, his thumb slipping between the panels of the canine's helm cage and ear to rub at the underlying hinge. The Cassette lifted at this, rubbing into the palm hard enough the black and white mech's hand would bow back a moment before more force was applied to counter the push. This was meant to semi-distract Bolo from the concept of going on some kind of long hike right now when they really couldn’t. Stalling to chat was one thing, abandoning their find to go meander around the environment sight seeing was another. Besides, walks around this area got boring fast for him. Least back on Cybertron there was people-watching and then veering off to any little store or food area that caught his eye along the way.
This was dirt, crappy ass dirt, some brittle shrubs, and more dirt.
"I run him ̧a̵ro̸ún͠d̵ at t̶im̕es, I know B-bumblebee has t-t-taken him out w̡hićh̡ I ̡a͞ppr̡-appr-eciate."
Carbine could keep up with Bolo's energy... to an extent. Run with him, throw a toy to wear him down... but just because he could didn't mean it didn’t tire him out too. To have someone else offer because the idea of a dog was novel and new? He would happily take that if he trusted the person enough to not do something to land his Cassette in danger or in trouble. Bolo was always eager to explore and sniff new scents, or even just sniff the same thing for the hundredth time as if it suddenly got new again and didn't remain the same.
