Craning his helm so he could properly hear the conversation, there was a relief in hearing Blades’ words about not seeing anyone nearby. That was a good sign, though it didn’t account for the fact the two of them had presumably been in the area for a little while.
It would be no issue, though - Raf was certainly a pro at finding any recorded footage should one of them be spotted. It helped that the hospital was one that June worked at, too, as she would probably be more than happy to help - if only to point out any cameras they may have missed.
The confirmation from Blades, and then Miko as well was all that he needed to hear, and while they couldn’t see him, he was nodding.
--Alright! Awesome! Opening a bridge now - it should be opening nearby, I think I got pretty close with these coordinates!-- he chirped.
A second passed, then another - then suddenly the all-too-familiar whir of a ground bridge sounded nearby. The vortex tore open from nothingness, basking the area in a brilliant green and yellow light.
It wasn’t far away at all - 100ft or so from where the trio currently stood.
--Okay! Hopefully that’s good! I’ll see you guys here in a second!-- there was excitement to his beeps - newcomers were always good. Two newcomers? Even better. The fact one was a medic as well? Well, they’d hit the jackpot!
With Blades on the move, Seventy-four watched the larger mecha, bouncing slowly as he studied him.
Our friend is big, but his pedes are careful. We will have an easy time with him.
Pleased with the observation, the Minicon was confident he would only need to put standard effort into not being stepped on. This also meant that Wrecker Miko should be safe, the most important thing.
Catching that they were ready to go, Unit 74 shuffled closer. It was a first for him, walking when there was a human so close to him, instead of hiding. Could he hurt her on accident? He decided to keep some distance between them, just until he was sure.
The Minicon suddenly stilled as the groundbridge erupted to life. In the face of the swirling lights, he lowered till he stood on his ankle joints. He had gone through them before… but it had been awhile. Before the neutrals… even before his first Autobot friends. It had been ships, and the big mecha driving or walking for a long time.
Caliber missed the bridges… He did not complain about driving, but he liked taking bridges best.
Maybe… where Caliber was, there were bridges too…
Something in his processor clicked, and the feelings that were starting to surface were lost. The cleaning unit picked himself back up to stand on his pede ends once more, looking to the others. He would happily do so, right through the groundbridge, without the slightest concern on what might lay at the other end. Only one thing mattered.
