Optimus' gaze would shift back to the open warehouse while Nathan spoke further, thinking through what sort of options may be in play, and just what sort of plan would be best to properly approach this situation. It was one thing knowing that an area potentially had a threat around any corner, while it was another to know there was a threat, yet not have a clue on just which corner it could pop out from. It was a small distinction, though it seemed to change much, his focus panning back to the row of buildings while characteristics of the targeted area were detailed... what little there were.
A couple of beats of silence passed after the question had initially been asked, Optimus trying to consider what plan would make the best use of what skills they had. Their collective strengths and armaments were varied, though all of their talents paled in comparison to the power Nathan currently had at his disposal. The ability to see the enemy force before it saw either of them. Then again, there was no saying if it was already aware, the cameras that gifted Nathan sight possibly granting them it as well... though a visual on anything was better than nothing.
::I need you to be my eyes::
Trusting that his ally would be fine where he was, Optimus would start to walk down the row of remaining buildings, his steady gait paired with an unmistakable thrum that was nowhere near covert. It caused some looser railings and gravel to tremor slightly as he went past, further evidence of just how large an individual he actually was. Stealth was never an option that he could pretend to humor, however, so there was no use in making an attempt to sneak, yet he was not brash and careless, keeping an even and cautious pace.
The first couple of buildings he passed did not hold any of the traits that Nathan described, though that did not mean he didn't look them over as he continued forth, seeing his own hazed reflection within dirt-speckled windows, only to see darkness through those that no longer held glass. Nothing of note was seen there, though a half-decimated structure came into view. That area would require some consideration, though his focus was more on the described threat, and not what clues that area may hold.
Locking down onto a warehouse that akin to the one described, Optimus would maneuver himself to its front corner where there were no windows, easing into a partial kneel so that he was at a lower stature. This positioning would be visible to Nathan due to the exterior surveillance videos, where he would be able to see the way the Prime's right arm held out to his side to transition into a double-barreled gun, while his left reached down slightly towards the bottom edge of the roller door. He would steady in place, effectively using the structural support that must be within the building's corner as a partial shield that would be far sturdier than if he had just knelt in front of the flimsy metal panels themselves.
::Is this it?::
Carefully, squared-off fingertips pressed under the edge of the roller door to make a minute gap that would hopefully be able to be seen on the camera. He knew whatever was within, if this was the right building, would know he was there simply due to the sound of his approach, though he was not going to throw caution to the wind and just wrench the panel open, especially as it itself may be a trap. This thought process was why he knelt as he did away from the front, and why he drew his weapon, the maw of the Cybertronian gun starting to seethe with crackled energy.
