WEEK 1, DAY 5
Omega Outpost One, NV
The medbay, as expected, had been near-spotless when Butch went in to clean it. Only the smallest of nooks and crannies - that is, to a Cybertronian like the on-base medics - needed work. Once the dust and dirt had been swept and scrubbed from those places, little had been left for her to do. It was nearing the end of her mostly-free week, and the Outpost's cleanliness was at a suitable baseline for her. That left tidying up loose ends such as supplies, of which Butch now jotted down in a notebook.
"Salsa...chips...Hot Pockets..." the woman murmured to herself, pulling open the freezer with one hand. Though she'd brought in snacks earlier in the week, the cupboards and fridge were lacking. Though the children and Sergeant Walker could bring in their own food, it was a matter of being prepared for the fridge to be full. What if everyone was stuck at base due to a disaster, or some kind of Decepticon attack? What if something had happened in the children's lives, and they needed extra food to bring home? Besides, snacks lifted morale, and there was a tension around base Cassandra'd picked up on.

On top of food, the base was in need of more cleaners. Cleaning wipes, paper towels, bleach, glass cleaner.... It was a laundry list of things Butch had gone through in fixing up the base, the human area especially. There was a little cleaning-bot who frequently used them, as well, and Cassandra didn't want him to be lacking. He'd been a polite, kindly fellow, and Butch felt bad about some brief confusion over how to organize the base cleaners. That, combined with how gentle a soul he was, motivated her to make sure he was taken care of.
