Aside from a fairly dark, mistrustful, and even slightly hostile FSM from League, which Gasket had come to expect from the bot, the welcome was warm. Rhinox on the other hand was nearly glowing, his FSM open and inviting despite him not having said a word since the conversation with Prime and his reactivation had begun. Optimus' electronic body language, however, was much more neutral. This was, again, not surprising from what he knew of the Primes. They had to be neutral to a situation which could cause harm to their charges and, even though Gasket had no intention of harming his last, best hope of seeing Cybertron alive again, he did not fault the Prime for his decisions, whatever they might be. However, as the dulcet tones of the Prime reached his optics the great bot relaxes slightly, his joints loosening as his stance became less static.
He described their conflict, the humans that the Autobots had made their ally and guardians against the marauding Decepticons, and their general mission on the planet. This was no longer the war, at this Gasket nodded... he knew the war was long over. While for some it would never truly be over the venerable bot had accepted the end of their planet, and with it the war, long ago. Raising a limb at the warning he smiled in understanding and continued to listen, lowering the servo in the same nanoclick.
Finally the words he had been hoping for passed from the Prime's voice box and his entire frame relaxed. Though there was no question that a great weight still weighed heavily on him the fact that he was now in the company of those who were of like mind certainly aided in his spark being more at ease. His steam-pumps slowed, a thin line of steam shooting from a few of his joints. As the Prime echoed the credo of the Autobots Gasket simply nodded, looking around the room in a new light.
Worry not about... my relation with the humans, Prime. Another story... I can tell you is of my workers... over the deca-cycles. I truly have... no trouble working with and... protecting the humans. They deserve the... same chance we... At the thought Gasket looked down in a mix of shame and guilt. So, looking back up, the old mechanism sighed. I suppose I... should get comfortable. Won't be... operating at optimal for... some t-
Holy cow that's one big bot! Gasket's optics blinked at the shrill voice that echoed through the room. It took a moment but he finally located the source, a small fleshling, female, was running toward them, several others smaller humans still in tow. An' I thought Bulk was big! A smile crossed Gasket's face and he realized that this was something that he did not expect. The female was jumping up and down as she stopped beside Optimus' pede.
When did we get an aircraft carrier? Miko certainly wasn't exaggerating...
I.. don't think its an aircraft carrier, Jack. Look at his feet, those are tie rods, steel wheels... really old... I'd venture he's some kinda train.
Venting a genuine sigh Gasket looked up at Optimus then, straining he knelt down, his optics still nearly ten feet over the heads of the small beings. He did not speak, simply looking between them... perhaps the others would shed some light.
