Nodding, Reflector was not looking forwards to diving back into that link, it made him ill just thinking about it. "I can do more..." He stated slowly, not really sure why he was even bothering to offer "Hack the doors open, wipe out the camera feed...make sure no one knows we were there." though he had no idea how to deal with Barricade's restraints, Reflector was never trained in how to 'hack' stasis cuffs or something similar.
He then closed his optic once more, finding that connection to see if his partner had anything to add.
<Barricade? Do you know what they got you wrapped up with? Or have any suggestions on how to break someone out of prison without dying horribly?>
There was pause, then: <If you’re talking hardware, they’ve got me in a high-security cell.”> He swung again in his restraints. <Mid-grade stasis cuffs. It’s killing some of my fine motor control but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed by someone just hitting the control panel and setting me loose. Screamer’s ordered the guard’s to keep outta the room I think. No one in the cell, so no one to bait into coming over here so I can kick ‘em in the face and make a heroic getaway. My suggestion: Basic distraction and cell-break should do the job. Glitch the power to my restraints and I can be out of ‘em in a nano-kilk. Preprogram a groundbridge for me and I’ll do the rest.>
There was a pause.
<Fairwinds is heading this little break-me-out plan, isn’t she?> Said like a mech on his way to the smelter.
"If you’re talking hardware, they’ve got me in a high-security cell. Mid-grade stasis cuffs. It’s killing some of my fine motor control but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed by someone just hitting the control panel and setting me loose. Screamer’s ordered the guard’s to keep outta the room I think. No one in the cell-"
Reflector did his best to parrot everything Barricade said up until that point, as the rest was just complaining and stuff that might make his only hardcore rescuer angry. With a small sigh, the minicon knew it would be up to him to diplomatically translate his partner's insulting rambling into something Fairwinds might be able to use.
"Um...Barricade would like to know if anyone else is helping." Reflector stated slowly, hoping to get a better list then just Fairwinds and himself, even an Eradicon would be looking pretty nice at this point.
Fairwinds could imagine Barricade's position quite well - apparently Starscream hadn't gone to any additional lengths to secure him as a prisoner.
Idiot.
She'd gone through a phase of being obsessed with the brig when Megatron had first acquired the Nemesis as his flag ship. Specifically, all the restraints and instruments of pain. The cassette had taken a fascinated delight in seeing prisoners trying to escape, either by talking their way out or through more physical means.
Megatron had banned her from playing with stasis cuffs when he'd returned after one duty shift to find her head and leg locked in one end of a pair of wrist cufts, and her second leg and a shockstick in the other. She could pick and hack locks, but only if they were on someone else...
To Reflector, Fairwinds bobbed her head with a smile. She wished she could talk to Barricade herself, but with the other cassette's cooperation, this was the very best next thing. "Mmhmm. Got Soundwave on our side via Ravage, and I'm gonna talk to Arma next about being a big ol' wrecking distraction, because she'll be awesome at it and is super loyal to Master and will, like, happily be a walking warzone for him if it'll help him, and busting Barricade out will help him. Got a few more Cons I want to talk to, but needed to check on Barricade's condition first. I can hack open the door, no problem, and the cuffs wont be hard either. So, Barricade can trust us to save him, and we totally will. It'll be awesome. Then we can all go planetside, get Master back, kick Starscream's helm in and have High Grade and gummies to celebrate."
Another grin, and Fairwinds nodded eagerly at Reflector to pass on this message of assurance and hope as quickly as possible.

He was a little saddened that he was not going to be much use since Fairwinds seemed confident she could hack the doors on her own. It was sort of like he was a glorified com-system, on that note he wondered if Soundwave had similar thoughts about his own position. In any case the minicon gave a small nod as he closed his optic once more.
<We are not alone. There is Ravage and my extension Soundwave. Fairwinds is also going to speak with the warrior Arma. From what I have seen of her, she will jump at the chance to find Megatron and her heavy weapons and armor will be a solid boon to the effort.>
This was also a relief to Reflector as well, he was worried for a bit it was going to be an army of Minicons that Fairwinds had under her command, sending them out against the guard and the rest of the Decepticons to free Barricade and ultimately Megatron.
<Oh Arma.> drawled Barricade, though the hum of the carrier-link. <Your great big warrior-crush on our fearless fragging leader can always be relied upon in a crisis. Did you know she’s got a creepy shrine? She’s got a creepy shrine.>
It was possible he was mentioning these things only because he was trying not to think about the gag mag-clamped to his face and stasis-locking his throat and vocalizer. It was incredibly distracting and the longer he was conscious the more painful the ostensible muzzle was becoming. He also ignored the fact that being restrained was tweaking raw mental nerves he knew he hadn't had before he got his chest cracked out.
<Okay. Tell Fairwinds to get cracking on that because Starscream is going to likely take out his inevitable frustrations on me when Shockwave and Company fail to accept him as leader. Again. If you can spare our favorite field feline to track Megatron that would be idle. Getting me out is the first step, but if we have a general idea where Megatron is, then when I bridge out of here we can aim at least to the same continent. I do not like Shockwave on this ship when Megatron is not. I like that less than I like Starscream prancing about and that’s saying something.>
Appalling as it was to rely on Fairwinds, the little cassette was actually pretty competent. He could depend on her like he could depend on Frenzy, but that didn't make it any less appalling to rely on someone who regularly shrieked in glee about My Little Pony marathons. It was the principle of the thing you see. As for Reflector... Barricade would see what he was capable very shortly. That or one of them would experience the extreme discomfort of a link-partner dying ugly. A singularly unpleasant experience.
"He sounds optimistic...and vengeful." Reflector reported to Fairwinds, shivering a bit before clearing out his vocal program with a digitized reboot, so he wouldn't sound quite so frightened. "He also said that He has a fair idea of where Megatron is and if we keep Ravage looking for him, with their combined intel they shouldn't have too much trouble finding our leader." Of course he was paraphrasing a bit and trying to sculpt his partner's words so they wouldn't come off like something a trash-compactor shot out.
Fairwinds nodded with a sound of approval. Vengeful was pretty par the course for Barricade, and optimistic when he was relying on her to help gave her a warm, fuzzy feeling around her spark.
"Sounds great." She nuzzled into the more substantial bits of his frame with shuttered optics. "Thanks again, Reflector. I'd better go and find Arma. I'll come back to you tomorrow to fill you in, and so you can pass on The Plan to Cade. Is that okay?"
<Ugh, I don’t even have to hear what she’s saying to know exactly what she’s saying,> said Barricade, voice completely flat, 100% certain she was being chipper and giving nuzzles of encouragement. Damn cassette. Even if she was his last hope – oh Primus frag him to the wall, if that wasn’t appalling – it would not in anyway bar him from thinking irritable thoughts about the little bird-bot. That said, the fragging cassette had some twists and cul-de-sacs in her cranial case that afforded her deviousness that was, occasionally, a source of idiot-savant like brilliance. <Tell her not to get me killed.>
Resisting the urge to push Fairwinds away, Reflector felt creeped out by the little avian shaped robot, there was just something about her that set his paranoia on full. "Um...thanks Fairwinds." He at least could be thankful that she was trying to comfort him, even if it was having the opposite affect. For the moment he forced himself to ignore Barricade to focus on what the little minicon was saying "Um...you never told me any plan beyond we are getting him free." he stated quickly, wondering if he missed something.
The remark caught Fairwinds flat, and she drooped a little with a pulse of embarrassment. "Oh. Sorry Ref' - was so geared up on Operation: Break Out Barricade that I left everything else in my processor. Barricade should probably know about what's going to happen next, huh?"
Scuttling back a few steps to give Reflector some more of that personal space thing he liked, the avian cassette straightened up with some measure of authority. She was actually pretty pleased with the plan herself. "Okay: After we bust Cade out, we're gonna 'bridge down to a little ways off the Neutral DMZ in Africa. Gives us some time to do repairs, regroup and all that miltary stuff. You, me, Arma and Barricade are gonna be like this, this Fellowship, right?"
Fairwinds was getting more excited by the nanoklik, optics flashing with barely contained anticipation and glee. "Then, we'll go on A Quest to see Master, who we figure is probably, no - definitely with Cleaver. Barricade and Master meet-" an awkward sort of shrug and optic roll at the word "-and then we get 'bridged back here to clean house. Sound good?"
As he listened the little bot's spark sank, this wasn't much of a plan, there were so many missing details that Reflector didn't even want to relay this to Barricade. He had a feeling his partner would be far more 'vocal' about the plan then he was.
He was considering not telling his partner at all to try and avoid the uncountably epic rant that Barricade had held back, but this line of thought was crushed, in fact all rational thought was utterly crushed when Reflectot heard one single name. Cleaver. Never before had Reflector ever felt guilty in fleeing for his life, but ever since he left the neutral zone his spark had felt heavy. The shutters on his massive optic went wide as he stared at the femme, a bit of a delayed reaction, one which he quickly hid.
<The plan is...we get you and you get Megatron. Thankfully it's just Starscream.> With that little report to Barricade, Reflector quickly set up a fire-wall to try and filter out the assassin's reply.

<Reflector? Refle –> Oh good, he’s ignoring me now. Fabulous. Just what I need, an amateur cassette partnered with the idiot savant cassette.
Barricade was going to put the little fragger’s cranial unit through a smelter. Frag. Whatever. He didn’t need Fairwinds to do jack all except get his cell open and a distraction. Hell, he didn’t even really need a distraction, he just needed out of his cell and after that he would take care of the rest himself (as was his MO for the last four million years) but he needed to know where he was groundbridging to. Specific coordinates. Hell, just a nation state. Ballpark. That was essential and the only thing he needed to know so he didn’t appreciate his supposedly intelligence-oriented cassette partner blocking him out for no deciernable fucking reason in the middle of an op that could likely get them both killed if Barricade didn’t have the full details. He amped his end of the carrier line and punched back against the thin firewall.
<Reflector, either you fragging open your line and tell me exactly what the frag she said or I’m going to flay the plating off your tiny body and put the remains through a shredder. Scan me? She just needs to open my cell and my cuffs and tell me which coordinates I need to plug into the groundbridge in case I have to take care of everything myself, which I can do. Tell her that and tell me where I’m going.>
There was a pause, then very shortly thereafter the information was relayed.
<Good. Now, go bust me out of this cell and I will fix our problem. All of our problem, and get this war effort back on fragging track.> He growled. <And if we don't consider the three of us responsible for the downfall of the Decepticon war effort.>
((EDIT: Okay changed this post so I can close it on that and Barricade has all the info he needs and is now just waiting to be busted out of his cell.))
