Sometimes, you write a tag but there are so many ways you could have gone. Or sometimes, you really, really wanted to write something but it would have been completely inappropriate due to seriousness of the moment. Or sometimes, you write a tag but you just can't use it.
This is a place for all those missing scenes, what could have beens or maybe just scenes you were uncertain about using. It can also be a rescue pile for ideas and for reworking plots.
In Much Ado About Nothing
It looked bad. Wheeljack stood at the edge of the clearing, taking in the situation and absently listening to Fort Max's voice.
::Didn't find any survivors,:: the Wrecker commed back. ::Found a whole lot of stupid though. I'm going to move on to the next quadrant and keep searching.::
1000% Jerktude
Zoom-Zoom had been in his quarters for once. He'd tried not to be in there generally because that would be the first place anyone looking for him would go. Still, sometimes there was nowhere else he could be on base.
So. He was lying on his berth, not in recharge because he was half paranoid Mirage would drop from the ceiling the moment he powered down his optics. The minibot had been lying there for a couple of breems when his door abruptly slid open and a bot strode inside like he owned the room.
"What the frag mech?" Zoom-Zoom protested as he sat up, preparing to grab his daggers in case his visitor proved hostile. He frowned in confusion as he realised that Wheeljack, of all mechs, was in his room. He hadn't actually met the Wrecker but he'd heard Red Alert cursing up a storm whenever the mech was around.
He'd also been given told, in no uncertain terms, to seek out the Wrecker's acquaintance. Something about him being a bad influence and a terrible role model. Which of course made Zoom-Zoom determined to met him but his schedule was always suspiciously full whenever Wheeljack was about.
"You're Zoom-Zoom right?" the Wrecker showed no signs of realizing that he'd invaded another mech's space and was entirely unwelcome.
"Yes. Also, what the slag. What are you doing in my room?" the minibot glared
"Heard you were a hacker. You any good?"
The insult to Zoom-Zoom's skills stung and he drew himself up to his full height. Not that it accounted to much and he was still on his bed and Wheeljack was looming over him. "You are not going to find anyone better on base, I assure you."
The minibot really didn't like the dark grin that appeared on Wheeljack's face at this. "Aaand you're a spook."
This was going someplace Zoom-Zoom was certain he didn't want to go. "What of it?"
"You know how to keep a secret," apparently that settled something because the next thing Zoom-Zoom knew, Wheeljack was unsubspacing Vehicon heads and dropping them onto his berth, energon and oil spilling everywhere.
The minibot startled and fell backwards and off the berth. "What the frag is wrong with you?" he demanded. Primus, Red Alert was actually right about something for once. Wheeljack was insane.
"I've been hunting Shockwave and all I'm hitting is dead ends lately," the Wrecker dismissively waved his servo at the decapitated helms. "Can you recover anything from those?"
Wrinkling his face in disgust, Zoom-Zoom prodded one helm cautiously. "I said hacker, did I say I knew anything about mnemosurgery? All I can get you will be fragments, nothing concrete and the absolute minimum at best. It'll mostly be disjoined words."
If Wheeljack was bothered by this prospect, he didn't show it. "Mech, I'm chasing my tailpipe here. I'll take whatever you can get me."
