Just prior to Ep 1
"Eat plasma, Decepticon!" the Autodolt had spirit, Skywarp had to give him that. Unfortunately, he needed a bigger gun to back up the attitude. Skywarp's thick armour, with its many layers of ablative coating meant the plasma round quite literally bounced off his frame, then splatted onto the wall beside them. Skywarp watched it go with a trace of disappointment. He'd eaten plasma once, on a dare. It had been quite electrifying and tingly before the whole burning of internal systems set in. The attending medic had been soooo slagged off at him though.
...Really, really needed a bigger gun. Skywarp examined the arm he'd ripped off the Autodolt, the inbuilt weapon a pitiful sight. Casually, Skywarp smacked the Autobot with his own limb but it failed to cave in the Autobot's head like he'd been hoping.
Oh well. He'd just have to make do without. Skywarp dropped the arm, then one servo lashed out. The punch caught the Autodolt in the head, crushing it in one hit, sending splintered metal and gobs of energon flying. The second punch pulverised his spark chamber and the Autobot's limp frame fell to the floor.
"Told you to pull over and surrender," Skywarp scolded the greying body. The Autodolt's frame was in his way, so he casually stepped forward, crushing it beneath his heavy pedes as he moved further into the starship. "Just kidding, totally would have murdered you anyway."
It wasn't long before Skywarp found what he was after, a stockpile of energon cubes. The big seeker had been running low in supplies, which was why he'd attacked the little two bot ship for a quick little raid. The Autodolt hadn't stood a chance, Skywarp's cannon fire had focused one strip of plating and torn a hole in the ship. An ordinary mech wouldn't have been able to fire precision shots under zero G conditions and when quickly pursuing a fleeing starship doing its best to dodge those shots. But Skywarp hadn't had to think twice about it, he'd focused on a part of the ship he wanted...and just fired.
Gleefully, the Decepticon drained one cube, right there and then. Celebration, right? One dead Autodolt and a whole stockpile of sweet, sweet energon. The rest he subspaced reluctantly. As much as he wanted to chug them all down, Skywarp had been travelling for far too long to make that mistake. Again. For the hundredth time.
As he stepped back, one wing accidentally banged the nav control console. Fragging small cockpits these starships had. Interestingly enough though, the comm systems kicked in and Optimus slagging Prime's voice came on. Skywarp jumped, then whirled, his cannon pointed at-
Well, just a speaker. Not Optimus like he thought. Aaand the more Skywarp thought about it, it'd be pretty hard for the big Autobot to manage to sneak into the starship without him noticing. Much less fit the two mecha in the same space. Hmph.
Skywarp's optics narrowed. He hadn't heard anything about the war for vorns. Megatron, frag, where had Megatron gone? It didn't seem fair the slagging Autodolts still had Optimus. As he listened, he realised that this was a pre-recorded message, a summons to some Primus forsaken planet where-
Oh. Ooooh. The war was still going and the Decepticons were there! Finally! And Optimus was kind enough to provide the co-ordinates for this little party! Even better!
A quick glance at the ship's nav showed that the Autodolt had been heading for the planet. As Skywarp headed towards the hole he'd blown in the ship, he stopped by the dead body and fondly patted that crumpled head. "Thanks frag-face!" he chortled cheerfully. "Really appreciate the energon and the directions. Catcha around!"
Skywarp stepped out of the hole, changing into his alt-form. His jets fired and the Decepticon flew off, leaving the dead starship to drift in space. Finally, he knew where he needed to go. Skywarp couldn't wait to serve under Megatron's lead again.
